this looks like some Jak & Daxter or Beyond Good and Evil style game from the 2000s if you added a bunch of HD texture/model packs.

we start saying things they don't like.

i know this all seems new to each generation. but e.g. with freedom of expression, the debate comes and goes in waves with new laws and high-profile cases. Rowan Atkinson in 2012:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUezfuy8Qpc

i dislike how readily we've allowed these things to become law, like Internet Censorship Bill #37 was the one that got through, and it was actually one of the more ridiculous ones (remember the ORIGINAL Digital Economy Bill?).

for me, it's drugs. i can buy a knife and stab someone. i can buy a pen and write the most horrendous things. ketamine, mephedrone and salvia were once legal in head shops in my lifetime. we'll legalise weed eventually.

it's just going to make people angry, take citizens' civil liberties away, they'll work around it, AND they'll despise you. laws should be there to protect from harm, not restrict your harmless activities.
>>
>>85525925
e-scooters are illegal i see them every day e-bikes are illegal i see them everyday its illegal to be offensive online i see that eveyday the law is a joke and this government are the clowns makeing the jokes up
>>
>>85525943
thing is if they claim the e-scooters/e-bookers are a public nuisance and/or health risk (as if cyclists don't ride on pavements), think of how many people WALKING just don't have spatial awareness and bump into you (AND IT'S GETTING WORSE.)

or stuff like playing music on buses. previously we didn't NEED laws for that sort of thing, because it was just...manners. legally, you have every right (barring some genuine offence/earrape levels of volume, maybe). that's not the same as behaviour we need to codify in law.

shit's starting to bother me, i must admit. the old British liberal-minded system was:
>you have freedom to do as you please, unless the law forbids it.
now it's swinging in the direction of:
>you can do what we say, as long as the law allows it.
>(but we still fully respect freedom of _____ :-))
