I joined a club and it was just cliques amd already established friends groups hanging out with eachother with no interest in speaking with anyone else. I simply don't try anymore, I do my best to enjoy my time alone

I'm glad I knew well enough not to make this mistake. Once you understand normies, you understand most social spaces and venues like "le college clubs". That includes nightclubs by the way.
