As you get older people disappear and you slowly realize you're completely alone at some point and it kills the joy in just about everything. I haven't found a solution for it myself. I think I was able to slow it down for a time when I was working longer hours a few weeks back. I think for some people having a family or a gf fulfills whatever that is, if you don't establish a relationship and fail to maintain your friendships you're pretty much fucked.
