He's managed to get it to do everything from browser automation, emailing clients, we had a guy write a simple program to scan in reimbursals by uploading photos of the receipts, etc.I really need to spend a weekend or two tinkering around to figure out how i can leverage it to increase my efficiency, even though i'm already pretty solid in that regard.
I mostly just want peace & quiet. I rarely look at my computer and feel joy, it's largely just a way to pass the time. Also the older I get the more and more I hate subscriptions and services. You used to be able to buy a thing and then own a thing. Now everything is moving to subscriptions and I hate it so much. Also somewhat related, I hate how much of everything is plastic these days. What happened to wood, metal, glass, etc? I know, it's expensive to get and work with and shipping is more expensive etc etc. I just really dislike the path our world has gone down and will continue to go down.
