Have any robots had a eureka moment that helped them turn their lives around out of the gutter? What's your story I would really like to know
during my first year of highschool i realized that avoiding people is stupid. i mean i'm not going out of my way but this shit really cured my fear of talking to people. like i've just been winging it since then. my speech is albeit awkward but at least i don't run away from people like a retard off his meds anymore. it doesn't sound like it's turned my life around but it really really did.
>>85564912At some point in the last couple of years I realized that being against racism is completely irrational from my position. You're either an anti-racist or a pro-racist in this world, and so from that day forth I decided to go forward embodying the Aryan spirit of my ancestors. I am a racist. And I am doing what is right

>GreentextsReading the stories of other anon's lives and realizing that I wasn't actually doing too bad and still had the ability to turn my life around. I was a neet loser with no job or ambition still living with my parents after dropping out of college and failing to join the military.I started dieting and excercising, drinking lots of water, taking care of my personal hygiene and little by little I started to chisel away at myself until I was no longer useless. I got a full time job and then moved to a better one when the opportunity presented itself. In each job I had I actually applied myself, to the point where my coworkers and supervisors would ask me to stay anytime I decided to move on. I can't tell you how much of a confidence boost it is to have people genuinely not want to see you leave. I finally worked myself into a job where things would fall apart if I left which means I now have job security. Anytime I look back at what my life was compared to now, I still have trouble believing it. I'm not a complete success but I'm happy with where my life is headed. I don't know why reading those stories did that to me. It was like one day I just woke up full of energy and started burning it off productively. So here's to anyone that has ever written a greentext. You glorious motherfuckers.
>>85564912>Finish internship>All job offers are garbage that are literally worse than straight up being unemployed>Realize that stressing this much over education and going the good goy path was a complete waste of time
>>85565085>neet loser with no job or ambition still living with my parents after dropping out of college and failing to join the militaryThat's my exact situation, I hope things turn around for me someday
>>85564912Still waiting for a good idea. Any day now it'll come to me.t. 30 yo neet living with parents
>>85564912Anyone on /r9k/ who turned their life around was never a real robot. A real robot is too stupid, depressed, ugly, or autistic to find a way out of their holes
>>85565259If that's so I am the robotiest robot this board has ever seen
>>85565112What are you doing now? What to do instead of post secondary school?
>>85564912Yes I had help in a gym with the equipment, very surprising, so I quit my search for revenge ripped my hitlist and tried to connect with my inner child
>>85565922Did connecting with your inner child make you happier?
>>85564912when i lost weight. i essentially realized this was entirely within my control to change. i wasted so much time being insecure about my weight and finally getting rid of 20kg of lard changed my confidence drastically as well as making it easier to move around in general.
It's called spiritual enlightenment, and you really can't force it. Counter-intuitively it is reached only in states of deep letting go, often in meditation, although it is not at all necessary. The experience takes you by surprise, and it can feel like literal death, so don't be surprised if you jump back in fear, and do all kinds of mental gymnastics to ease the discomfort of "losing your mind." At some point though you inevitably have to cross that threshold, surrender you very sense of being a self to the greater Self that was here all along, and you never truly left or forgotten.
>>85566583kinda like how a lot of inventors got their greatest inspirations doing something unrelated outside their workshop.
>>85565224They will. You just have to find the will to do something about it.For me it was>Realize one day that I've been subconsciously sucking in my gut for a year because otherwise I have a large belly and my pants feel very tight.>I already drank water most of the time but started making sure I drank more of it in a day.>Noticed that I would eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner just because that's what you do, not because I was hungry.>Start eating only when I'm hungry and cutting way down on what I do eat.>Start doing exercises each day (pushups, situps, squats) while slowly increasing how many I can do until I reach 100 of each.>Designate 6-8 hours each day to improving myself like it's a job.>Update my resume and start applying for jobs I think I can do until I get one and just do my best. It's been 10 years. I was 24 when this thing kicked in and it still hasn't left me.Go check out bibliotheca anonoma, maybe something there will inspire you.
>>85564912saw this video talking about how to love yourself; the tips she gave was to write down who the ideal person youd like to be is, and then in every situation; think of how this imaginary person would act; now i love myself a little more
>>85566541That's nice to hear anon good for you
>>85567158>bibliotheca anonoma, maybe something there will inspire you.Dude holy fuck I've been laughing at catfishman for half an hour https://wiki.bibanon.org/The_Catfish_Man
