Star Ocean is unbeatable if you're done with Chrono Trigger. Then there is Dragon Quest. Final Fantasy VI was pretty good, but I kept getting lost and ambushed too much to put it ahead of those games. Chrono Cross, Golden Sun, even Final Fantasy VII, the next one seem better.And that's if you use emulators.I just play Nethack on my phone. It hits like a Skyrim but looks like it was made in the 90s. Cursed bread can kill you here, fun game.

I think I'm a failure of a Boomer because I never liked FF6 *that* much despite being born in the 80s. It was a solid 7/10. Whatever. A good SNES RPG among a hundred or so good RPGs.
