Anons, there is now a whole genre on YouTube of videos meant to get clicks by preying on old people fears. The videos are titled "the top five causes of house fires" or "how to avoid a home burglary" or "the new atm scam no one is talking about". The videos use stock images and an AI generated guy who no cap looks like wilford brimley. The scripts and voiceover are also AI. Old people have no idea and think it's just some well-meaning guy the relate to so they give them money.

Has there been a study or book on old people's paranoia? Must just be a manifestation of their growing insecurity of getting closer to death.Also there used to not be property rights. There still aren't in some places of the planet. Property rights are a genuinely new American forefather concept, that's why people wanted to come here in the first place, also secular freedom. You can essentially practice any religion you want in America since day one without having your entire blood line hunted down and put in dungeons or killed.
