Virtually noone is an actual Christian anymore, and Christian discourse which critiques modern society from a Christian theological perspective is long gone from the public square, least in the anglosphere. Calling oneself a Christian nowadays is mainly just a label to broadcast politically conservative and ethno nationalist sympathies, particularly for anyone under 50. American 'christians' are a particularly ironic case where Christianity is shorthand for enthusiasm for sadistic and aggressive repression of outgroups, a total inversion of Christian teachings.
