Kinda crazy how Mappa alone raised the bar so high for anime with JJK and CSM that now even mediocre but passable animes of the past look like utter shit in comparison

JJK and CSM fights look like shit to anyone not wowed by a million flashing lights and unreadable movement. Chunin exams, dark tournament, 23rd budokai tenkaichi etc all mog them to death. Even outside that it's nothing special in the character department, even if I like some of them (Choso). The CSM manga is fine tho just the anime sucks dick
