>FDA recommended daily allowance(RDA)
>a measure of how much as an upper limit you should get a day
>people use it as how much they should have a day
2000mg is the upper limit of "safe" for sodium, if you get 2000mg a day every day for years youll be fucked. Also the calcium RDA while good is really unrealistic, and retards take supplements that their body ignores 95% of to reach RDAs across the board instead of just getting a good amount of each vitamin and mineral every a day

Are people forcing themselves to consume more sodium to reach 2000mg

Those values are made the fuck up. For many years I'd consume multiple times the RDA of vitamin C every single day. Not a damn thing negative happened to me. Healthy individuals can consume a fuckton of salt with no ill effects, see the Japanese. They actually complain that US ramen isn't salty enough. FDA is corrupt as fuck or did everyone forget about covid and the vaccines already?

If it was the safe upper limit then companies wouldn't be allowed to put more than 100% of the allowance of anything in their products, despite that being a regular occurrence.
