>Be me 24 right now 3 months away from turning 25>Developed this cool edgy "I'm invincible" identity as a teen>Soon to be 25, then 26, 27 and so on>My mortality and the shortness of life has struck me and I wasted years of my youth to hopping from minimum wage job to another minimum wage job>Stopped masturbating to porn>Started eating healthier>Started reading philosphy books>Applying for 25+ hour jobs>More effort into getting a girlfriend and having kids>I'm just a random anon on the poverty-middle class line, yet my stupid mind believed I was invincible, there were milllions of soldiers in history, great military leaders like caesar to stalin, all have been swept away by time and death. Everyone born before 1900 is DEAD. One of the worst things was how bad a shitty job at a young age holds you back, I worked at oreillys making 12 an hour, simultaneously everyone I knew from school when I was 19-22 I wasted time going alone to parks bars community college and reaching out to people I knew nothing ever happened socially, at the time I was upset wanting to go out and be social, I wish I just saved money. And tried to just get a better job right away instead of "go to job and get check", if you dont have a 20 or more an hour job in this world now, you suffer.Constant car problems too held me back financially and socially, living in the salt belt never able to save more than 2k just fixing stuff going brokeI make a grand a week now and own 2 volvos reliable, but I have never had a girlfriend but I want 2 kids, I want a family. >Pic relatedmy go to daily driver looks like thatThe uncertainty of what happens after death is what is bothering me. >The consciousness energy within the body is the soul>Islam and Christianity both state that the soul departs this world and both "rest" until the judgement day (second coming)Why is death simultaneously understood as a endless dreamless sleep yet humans believe an afterlife?
Have you ever gone through surgery, death is like the anesthesia. It is the fear of death that hurts, death itself is neutral
>>85574656>Be me 24 right now 3 months away from turning 25Sheesh what a baby, no doubt you still get carded at the liquor store. What are you doing now where you make a grand a week, anyway? I'm guess it's a job that doesn't require written communication?
>>85574656>living in the salt beltrust* belt nigger, get it right
>>85574656Why is death simultaneously understood as a endless dreamless sleep yet humans believe in an afterlife? The complexities and orderness of life seems to imply creationismThe simple to everything seems to stem from the human brain not being equipped to handle the workload of certain questionsThere is not one human living or dead, past present or futureNo politician, no astronaut, no military soldier or general, no scientist, no actor, no billionaire or millionaire, no hobo or working man, who can give an answerThe advice of life is always the same>Be nice to others, especially friends and family>Live strong and healthy>Always strive for the best, be optimisticAnother thing I find is never get attached to physical objects unless its something family related, and being a young guy with a car and sinking thousands into it, never repair a car for more than you bought it for, even if it adds up overtime, "car guy" and "car hobby" shit is expensive and a death trapAnother realization and inevitable consequence of todays world is that the way you need to work 40+ hours a week, living paycheck to paycheck, life seems to get "faster" as you get older, because days working are days wasted. A day for a millionaire with lots of freedom is like a week for a peasant. And why is it that in this world, young people are crushed financially? Why couldn't I be 18 and been able to move out and have a family? Why did I have to hop from minimum wage job to minimum wage job up until earlier this year where i went from 17 an hour to 21.50?meant to be posted before other responses, gay site glitched out
>>85574721Henley enterprise owned franchisee valvolineJust know a little about cars and they'll hire you, sunday time and a half combined with overtime gets me my grand a week paycheck
>>85574656>24 years old>only just realized death is a thinghow did it take you this long dude
I always knew what life was about even as a kid. Everything is a scam and work most of all. Early retirement should be the goal if jobbing can't be avoided. At least with nursing the hours are pretty good. One out of state travel contract for three months is enough to live comfortably the rest of the year. Lots of places have weekend positions that pay full time and benefits for two nights a week. Then there's local agencies that can connect you to jobs with no expectations or requirements beyond that one shift, work as much or as little as you want. If you truly hate it you can tell them to put it on your record you won't do a specific facility again. That kind of flexibility makes waging slightly less miserable. The weird thing about money is the more you have the less you care about it. Way investing works you can sprint it but nothing beats time in the market whereas you aren't getting any younger. Once the trajectory is set try to enjoy life while you aren't getting up mid sleep to take a struggly prostate pee and take ibuprofen with your morning coffee. You can always work more when you're old if you need to play catchup, and they'll pay more because experience anyway. Make your own booze, pirate everything, drive old car, learn how to repair ripped jeans, maybe even grow some herbs and vegetables. The lower your annual spending the sooner you can retire for real. To a degree it's easier to find ways to decrease spending than it is to earn more money without simply working more hours.I'm almost 40 and no longer splat the headboard when fapping. Just kind of dribbles out maybe halfway up my chest. Getting old sucks. Good idea to consider health, don't cheap out too much on food since that alongside sleep and exercise play a huge role in health and wellbeing in grandpa years. Need to avoid arthritis so you can type out unsolicited life advice to younglings.
