This was a question for people who are technical when it comes to software

Why is it that I change my font size in my settings to the largest size available it changes it mostly everywhere else online and through my apps

But when I go to 4chan the text size stays the same

Is there anyway I could be able to change that because I prefer to read large letters

Could it be done in the settings or does it have to be done from in external downloaded source because if so then I don't really care to change it that much

I'm curious why it does that in my assumption is that it's four chance on thing that they have preset

What "settings" are we talking about here?

It's time to move on unc, you're too old for 4chan and it's past your bedtime

Font size and style inside the display settings

I thought that changing it through there would change it universally across my device but it doesn't change it for 4chan

hold

ctrl and hit the "+" sign for zoom
ctrl and hit the "-" sign for zoomout

I should have mentioned I'm a mobile user and don't have a laptop or PC but I've I've been thinking about getting a laptop so I can watch movies in my bed nice and cozy I'm just not sure what I should get

This scaling but it's someone saying "hey" all the way from inaudible whisper to like ear bleeding jet engine HEY

Hey

Hey doesn't look like hey it's when you see a word you know that thing that happens

Hey

You're fucked. On desktop there's a myriad of ways to force a semi-consistent base value.

Dang I do notice something interesting as well though

Different devices have different 4chan mobile presets

You know how apps work differently on different devices because they are more optimized

My more budget older phone is way more navigable than my newer phone for some reason here's two screenshots whilst I have my two devices together

Also interesting how it resets the time limit

I didn't even think about that

So if you have two devices you can completely bypass the minute time limit

I don't think I'll do that because it's too try hard but I wonder if it also resets the time limit for posted threads or the amount of posted threads you can

I'm pretty sure it's five at a time so you could technically have 10 up if you have two devices

That must mean that it isn't connected from IP address but rather Mac address

Your browser should have "accessibility" settings that let you increase the zoom.
>>

This works but it does something to the websites mobile optimization at least that's what I think it's doing

Either way I appreciate that information I didn't know

You talking about the wasted space on the right? Long filenames do that regardless of what your text setting is at (although if yours is bigger, the threshold for what a long filename is does shrink). Close any pictures you have expanded in the thread.
>>
>>85575456
Not from opening any image it's pretty much just doing it on its own pretty sure just it messes with the entire website system so I'll just leave it at its default state
>>
>>85575514
Oh it's probably the banner ad doing it. Notice how it's the only thing that fits perfectly? You should download a browser with adblock built in anyway, like Brave.
>>
>>85575659
Good catch yeah that makes sense probably is the add banner

Why brave what's good about that one I like Chrome because of familiarity so I probably wouldn't be convinced but maybe if I get a laptop I would check it out
>>
>>85575680
Brave's biggest selling point is the built in adblocker (especially since adblocking can be a bit of a pain and over complicated for mobile browsing). It's not the only browser with one, but it's simple and a transition from Chrome wouldn't be difficult.

If you don't want to bother switching browsers I came up with another solution. I was gonna suggest something similar with your original problem, but it was acting funky for the text within posts even though it worked on the rest. Anyway go to 4chan's settings in the top right of the screen, go to miscellaneous, enable custom css, click edit, paste this line, and save it.

Glad to help. Also I forgot to clarify, yes you need the period at the beginning of the line.
