Why is it that every girl profile you see on social media claims to be asexual in some wayI thought asexuals were like, a small fraction of the world population? What gives?
It's the trendy thing rn. Be reassured we are really rare.
>>85577728Huh, so it's the new "internet autism". Figures
>>85577725The exact same reason why you see people claim to be queer, or that they have ADHD or PTSD; they are looking for attention.I think it should be taken more seriously (especially when people claim to have actual disorders or disabilities) as it just fucks it up for people who actually struggle with said disabilities/disorders.But yeah it's all attention seeking and wanting to be unique.
>>85577756>I think it should be taken more seriously (especially when people claim to have actual disorders or disabilities) as it just fucks it up for people who actually struggle with said disabilities/disorders. Yeah that pisses me off, anyone who actually has to live with a mental disorder wishes they could get rid of it more than anything else. And now they can't even really say they have it or else they'll get associated with the people who do it for attention
>>85577725It might be a kind of "don't flirt with me unless I flirt with you" strategy against 'creepy guys'.
>>85577897I mean... That sounds kind of counterintuitive. If a self proclaimed "asexual" started flirting with me i'd be suspicious as hell
>>85577725Normal people don't post much online. If they do, it's only for their IRL friends. If you're seeing a stranger's posts online you can almost always assume they're a terminally online weirdo. I promise if you go outside there are not nearly as many troons and other deviants as the internet would have you believe.
