I'm on allopurinol which is causing the gout flares. They never prescribed anything else for the pain. Actually that's not true. I took Prednisone right before getting on allopurinol and prednisolone 1.5 weeks into allopurinol. I'm three weeks in at 100mg of allopurinol a day. They said not to come back after three months. My right foot is still slightly swollen and painful. But I least I can work.

Been feeling the same way. I even started drinking cheap american lagers and i have to say that this "piss water" is underrated in the summer. I'll probably quit drinking regularly this winter, except for special occasions and stuff. There's really no sense of euphoria anymore and im not even an alcoholic in the clinical sense.
