Gymcelling is a bad cope when you think about it. How much muscle you can put on is determined by your genetics. I'm not saying that going to the gym is bad, but the results that you can realistically get is mediocre. You probably don't have the time, or the genetics to pull it off.

And when you ofc don't see dramatic progression, guys who take steroids will tell you to just eat more protein.

Lifting is indeed a cope, for me I'm coping with my physical weakness by lifting.
>genetics
Yeah your muscle insertions can be make it or break it for aesthetics, your genetics are serious thing to consider if you want to be a professional bodybuilder. If you just want to lift, look good, and feel strong then your genetics don't matter that much.

The genetic bit is overplayed. Its nothing, but you are making excuses for lack of investment.

Poor diet, sleep, and progression are usually the things killing your gains.

People never eat enough, don't sleep enough to recuperate, and try jump weight because of muh overload when they aren't really there yet.

Resulting in strongfat outcomes rather than Greek aesthetics.

I don't have some genetic disorder. I could get reasonably strong and I'd look a lot better. Calling gym a cope is a cope for not doing it, in my view.

I adressed the lack of investment in my post. It's more like not having enough time on your hands. Genetics are also not overplayed. Genetics matter a fuckton when it comes to building muscle, not just building muscle. Some people are mire predisposed to injuries. Because gymcelling is a cope for genetic dead ends it is indeed a bad cope.

Frame, muscle insertions and GENETICs.

I'm not saying that gains are impossible. I'm saying that some people have to work twice as hard for them.

only if you lift purely for hypertrophy results i guess. and even within this retarded premise its better than nothing

gymmaxxing should be a tempered part of a holistic looksmaxxing routine. Nothing more. You shouldn't be roiding, packing on too much mass, nor spending hours every day in the gym. Too many tradfags and redpillers treat it like libtards treat therapy, as this magical fix all solution for life's problems. That asks too much when all it does is slightly improve smv (manlets and facecels need not apply) and very slightly improve mood.

I remember dieting, following a workout routine, and a sleeping regularly all for about a year and a half. By the time summer came around I looked like left. I went to my friend's house for a pool party and started telling a mutual all about how I've been lifting. His response was that he hardly noticed a difference. That's when I realized how meaningless it all was.

I'm short and recessed everything I do is already a cope, I am not going to die fat too.
