When people say stuff like "Late-stage capitalism" or "Capitalism is unsustainable" what are they talking about? There's no alternative ways to conduct global trade. If you kill all the rich people and take all their stuff, like they did in Cuba, you're going to be frozen out of the global trade system like Cuba. So what are they really suggesting is going to come next?
I think we should bomb ourselves into oblivion
>>85579499Late stage niggerdom more like.
>>85579499They're mainly talking about how capitalism has to grow infinitely to support itself. Except infinite growth isn't possible. There are limited resources. Companies must make increasing profits every quarter for their shareholders, else they are liable to be sued. This leads to companies cutting costs in anyway possible, usually leading to a reduction in product quality and a decrease in worker satisfaction.
>>85579518>capitalism has to grow infinitely to support itselfThat's just not true though
>>85579499>what are they talking about?"You are gonna pay for my shit with your taxes"
>>85579518>There are limited resources. That makes communism inheriantly impossible.
>>85579518So a guy who is suggesting we double the amount of limited resources by expanding to another colony or planet would be popular on the left, right? Because they're so worried about limited resources
Capitalism has nothing to do with how global trade works. The US does try to cutoff all trade for socialist states, but doesn't mean it couldn't possibly happen and it hasn't happened before. I'm not a socialist, but there are ways you could obviously better redistribute wealth and that will be necessary when AI causes mass unemployment.
>>85579932Musk is an incompetent narcissist. There is no chance we're even making it to the Moon this decade lol. People want to, but he's not the one to do it.
>>85579499>If you kill all the rich people and take all their stuff, like they did in Cuba, you're going to be frozen out of the global trade systemAren't you just proving the Communists right though? You've just affirmed that the capitalist powers will do anything they can to destroy socialist projects. This just demonstrates the need for international socialism and the total destruction of capitalism on a global scale.
>>85579932>So a guy who is suggesting we double the amount of limited resources by expanding to another colony or planet would be popular on the left, right? Because they're so worried about limited resourcesIf you take anything Elon said seriously you're a fucking idiot. Here's an example: He owns a car company. A few years ago, California wanted to build high speed railway. Knowing that this would threaten his car sails, Elon went to the Californian government and told them that instead of railway they should contract him to build a new super form of high speed transportation called the "hyper loop". The government fell for this, and cancelled their railway plans. A few years later the hyperloop project fell apart, and neither railway nor loop was ever built. He obviously knew this was going to happen, and deliberately stopped the railway project because he wants as many people driving the roads as possible because this would increase his car sales.
>>85580016It's not unique to Capitalism though.Haiti was a part of the Colonial system, and rebelled against Colonial France. They were extremely brutal in their uprising, and Haiti was a Pariah state, isolated from the international system during the 1790s. The American Revolution didn't alienate America from the international system because they were more politically competent
>>85580056California never cancelled their railway plans. They've just been making 0 progress.Construction contracts began to be awarded in 2013, and the groundbreaking ceremony for initial construction was held on January 6, 2015. They've built a mile of track in the last decade because California is incompetent at providing services.
>>85579590Yeah, on paper it doesn't require it, but modern financial capitalism is structurally dependent on continuous growth to service debt and satisfy investor expectations.
>>85579499The problem with capitalism is that people think it's an inevitable default state of any system that desires autonomy of the individual and degrees of separation between government and industry/commerce. It's the same cope as being "neutral" on politics, you are surrounded by people who are telling you what "normal" is and their "normal" is an agenda, not fate. Communism is what happens when Jews invent the system and traitors make it work, capitalism is what happens when Jews invade the system and foreigners make it work. I would say what we need is fuedalism but all the AI kikes have basically destroyed that entire concept and turned it into the idea of just human battery farming in earnest.
>>85579499The only way is by abolishing the law of value and money worldwide, engaging in mass production, and achieving a level of international coordination never seen before. That is why the United States and China must collapse first for everything to change.
>>85579518We must also mention crises of overproduction: what happens when everyone, or the majority, lives so well that they no longer need to buy things every day? Overproduction sets in, causing losses for the bourgeoisie; quite simply, it is not in the interest of capitalism for us all to live well.
>>85579499Late-Stage Capitalism is a term coined by poorfags who can't find a job that will pay them a living wage. Sometimes they make observations about the economy, like how the price of groceries has risen substantially. But they falsely attribute that rise to capitalist greed, and not inflation caused by the fed printing money.
>>85579986The scale of global trade doesn't work very well with individualism. Global trade relies on Multi-national corporations, who can operate under a bunch of different rules in a variety of different environments. Like Coke selling soda in a south american football stadium, a Saudi megastructure office park, a US Military base in Afghanistan and your local convenience store. You can wear a white glove and take care of someone you know IRL, like as a barber, or a cosmetologist. But if you're distributing food to a billion people you're not operating at that level. You're operating at the level of a company with a legal department, payroll, who deals with compliance. A company who is usually public which means they disclose their books, and their shares are traded publicly by people, which is how they can finance expansion and distribution. The soviet union was not efficient at distribution, which is why they had people waiting in line for bread.
>>85580427I don't really get the difference between Capitalism and Feudalism
>>85579499First of all "capitalism" is a commie meme. The idea that private trade isn't a thing that we do naturally as part of civilization is utterly deranged. However, what they're talking about is basically what you see out of the window. Companies have basically figured out how to metagame the neoliberal economy with debt, planned obsolescence, consolidation and pseudo-monopolies which means they basically do not need to compete anymore particularly as the goyim become stupider by the year.
>>85581187Don't listen to that fucking nigger. Unironically saying we should return to feudalism is terminal /pol/ brainrot, the mark of some 80 IQ bugperson who, ironically, should be a feudal serf. Capitalism is the nebulous idea that people own shit, ie factories to make a profit. Feudalism is, very broadly, the system of land ownership where land is given out by a king to aristocratic families. It's September so they should teach you this in school soon.
>>85581187Capitalism emerged as the evolution of, and a step beyond, the feudal system.1. Feudalism was based on local fiefdoms and fragmented power. Capitalism drove the consolidation of modern nation-states with unified laws and markets.2. Under feudalism, wealth consisted of land, which belonged to the nobility through inheritance. Under capitalism, the means of production, factories, businesses, and capital, are governed by private property rights and market forces.3. Feudalism was characterized by serfdom: peasants were bound to the land and required to pay tribute, in the form of goods or labor, to the feudal lord. Capitalism gave rise to wage labor, a system in which individuals are legally free and sell their time and labor power in exchange for money.
>>85581239What's the difference between a Feudal Lord owning all the farmland in his Duchy and renting it out to peasants and a Capitalist Corporation owning all the productive farmland in a municipality and renting it out to farmer tenants for a profit?
>>85579499They are just re-learning that religion teaches us about excessive greed and that greed is bad. It has nothing to do with the "system" or "capitalism" in any possible interpretation, it's just that they see examples of individual people being greedy and inherently understand that it's bad.
>>85581391feudal lords are born as lords, and "corporations" are just regular people. in fact if you are born in a rich family it's almost guaranteed that you'll end up with nothing or just a fraction of that wealth/power.
