Double that again to $280k and that would get you a few outbuildings. Double it a third time to $560k and that gets you the house. Double it a fourth time to $1.1 million and now you can finally have it all fenced, paved, and the off-grid power and storage and all the other goodies to make it into your private compound. That's only if you do all of the labor yourself as well.
