Is there such a thing as good and evil?
>>
im not an enlightened authority on the subject but i sometimes think those ideas fall apart conceptually if you poke at them long enough. poking at them long enough is kind of pointless because it stupidly disrupts our admittedly imperfect but effective and useful sensibilities. there isnt a convincing reason to upend the world like that and start from scratch when it would take forever and we would probably reach similar conclusions the second time anyway.
everyone is furthering their own interests, sometimes things get in the way, every second of your life you react with choices informed by an unfathomable wealth of personal experiences, subjectively interpreted by our senses and biased brain. the consequentiality of your actions, which can be legally physically and morally conflicting, selective willful ignorance and the reaction of others varies endlessly. objective good and evil is too difficult to determine but our subjective ideas of them are useful so just let it be.

yes. there is objective morality, but it is an emergent property so you can't break it down cleanly to its component parts or hard rules that you can describe through language. it is roughly based on life/growth = good, destruction/death = bad. people sometimes do evil things for "good" reasons, some people are too insane/retarded to truly understand why something is good or evil, and the more complicated or delayed something is the harder it is to frame it as good or evil, but humans naturally have a consensus on what objective morality is throughout history.

i'm not a fan of him

no not really. even guys like epstein were just having a bit of fun. its just levels of consciousness, guys like epstein inhabit lower layers, while being intelligent within the material world

>>85708730
why did his handlers keep his fun a secret then.

cause they exist on the same level, duh. he ruled by fear and blackmail, forbidden fruits etc. these are all human concepts, when in reality they are just things that exist. animals for instance are on a lower state of consciousness naturally but are more in tune with their environment. things just get messy with humans because we create our own environment

That's because you can basically tell from the title that the book will just say "theres no such thing as good or evil its all subjective" and end it there
>>
>>85708844
right. good and evil are also just things that exist. you can rephrase what they represent or exaggerate how much/little they matter, but they just exist.

In modern time? No, power and wealth are the only metrics that matter.
The elites can't even pretend otherwise: they openly get away with everything they told you is wrong (committing crimes, acting like degenerates, being lazy, etc).

Maybe religious people can deal with all of this and tell themselves that these people will be punished in the afterlife or whatever, but I am not one of them. Most of them will completely get away with everything they did, and die in a comfortable bed, surrounded by people that, at the very least, pretended to love them.
