Consent-based sexual ethics do not really make any sense. To account for cases where verbal consent is coerced, one has to conclude that verbal consent alone is not true consent and what matters is one's internal desires, but only conscious desires as arousal is not consent either. This leaves open the possibility of lying about consent *without* coercion (perhaps due to some irrational fear or other). Any sexual encounter is potentially rape, and it's completely impossible to know.
>>85709894actually had this argument before. youre entirely right theres loads of people who believe the thing that counts is how the woman feels during sex now. "not every rape is a woman trying to run away or tied up" yea but what about if she says yes "she was pressured to do it, you made her do it". oh and btw one drop of alcohol or second hand smoke inhalation immediately revokes all statements of consent. also also dont forget she can always change her mind.well you better make it a good time for her you fucking rapist. oh wait she will say its rape anyways.
There's no lying about consent, contrary to retarded men fiction most cases of bad sex aren't called out as rape, they just remain as shitty experiences,The problem is simple, men are shit and need to improve so they can understand no is no. No amount of inane verborrhea is going to change this fact
>>85711101yes there is. potentially this can happen. if obvious pressure is applied to essentially force someone to say yes. if thats the case its definetly obvious to the person who is pressuring the other. the issue arises when this is claimed in situations when it wasnt the case. just simply lying. and this sort of retarded behaviour is hurting women who have actually gotten raped. the boy who cried wolf situation
>>85709894So basically women are lying whores and should be treated as such. Gotcha
coitus is too complicated
What I'm confused about consent is it's possible to partially want something. How do you quantify that?
I just don't want to deal with women anymore
>>85711101>contrary to retarded men fiction most cases of bad sex aren't called out as rape, they just remain as shitty experiences,OP here, bad sex being called rape is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking how giving up on verbal consent as the absolute metric (as we do due to the possibility of coercion) means that real consent is *hidden information*.>The problem is simple, men are shit and need to improve so they can understand no is no. No amount of inane verborrhea is going to change this factI actually think we should return to marriage-centric sexual ethics.
