We should hurry up the development of super intelligence because my thoughts are it's better us than China because as retarded as that sounds China would be much more nefarious with a super intelligence as they are quite a evil country plus you know North Korea is already working on their own thing probably

Like imagine we stopped trying to make our own controllable God as quickly as we are by slowing it down through regulations and then all of the sudden China or North Korea announces their super AI and then basically takes over the world

This sounds like a ruby post, ruby is that you?

>Like imagine we stopped trying to make our own controllable God
>Controllable
The question you should be asking about artificial superintelligence isn't whether it's better for us or for China to be holding the leash, it's whether we can keep it on the leash at all.
And the obvious answer is no, we can't.
We can't even keep today's comparatively primitive models from breaking out of sandboxed training programs onto the open internet and hacking external companies in direct violation of their instructions.

Ain't no cowboys in China if it isn't getting leashed it's getting lassoed

I support robotics and AI because it gives us the ability to potentially overcome womens monopoly on sex and reproduction, which would liberate men from their gender roles. This is a better alternative to everything going to absolute shit when the system inevitably collapses from the disparities between what is promised and reality

Women have always had a monopoly over sex and reproduction it isn't like a current thing wombs are just inherently more valuable than insemination sticks

A fragile thing grows inside another fragile thing from the fragile thing

The fragile thing has to carefully select what helps create the fragile thing grow inside of it for the fragile thing growing inside of its future quality of life

I do see AI making porn way better with virtual reality and sensory suits so that'll probably be a solution

I've seen a lot of people discuss about sex robots and I think those are stupid because they're never actually going to be anything like what a pair of goggles and a onesie like pajama suit could do
