seriously what's the appeal of thrash metal?any metalheads to answer?i've listened to stuff that is way heavier and more extreme, ,like meshuggah, cannibal corpse, even that black tongue which is so heavy might as well be a memebandbut songs like HANGAR 18 give me anxiety, why would anyone want to feel that waythe choice of notes and chords is literally anxiety-inducing

Thrash metal was a reaction against the rise of hair metal, it was for the true metal heads, not the posers
I like early metallica and rust in peace theyre very melodic. Its not about pure aggression like the other bands you mention but theres an element of that . Idk theyre good musicians doing their thing
