For a long time, I could only drink keurig dark roast coffee and nothing else. A few months ago, I tried instant coffee out of desperation when I had nothing else available and it was surprisingly good. I haven't bought keurig pods in 3 months and I've already saved so much money on coffee

Better coffee does taste better. But not by enough to justify the cost if you're poor. I have only been getting the cheapest brand of instant for years, now, and I'm growing so tired of it I don't even enjoy it anymore.

I've been drinking instant for a while now it's kind of gross to me, so I'm brewing coffee now which is an improvement. Instant is well instant so it's easy and perfect for a lazy neet. I also order energy drinks in bulk.
