I haven't been in r9k probably since before Covid. Anything notable changed around here? Omegle threads used to be popular, but I think that site is now defunct...

The incels are all over 30 now, and 1/3 of the userbase are indian

Not surprising. I am an American who is genetically three quarters European and one quarter Indian, (one Indian grandparent and 3 white grandparents) and I have been posting here maybe 2014-2020. Indians much less prominent everywhere back then.

Damn. It was 90% Indian back pre-covid. I guess most of them died off from the cough.

Not as many women hate threads, the board in general has been sissified/simpified and fully trannified.
>>

The board is practically dead. A lot of the posters are ritual spammers. Honestly, the entire website is dying. I wonder how long it will be until hiro decides it isnt worth it anymore and sells it. There's no way it is making money

Increasing trannification tracks with the trend in the rest of the online, and even irl, spaces inhabited by sub-5 dorky males. But by 2020 it seemed to already be at saturation on r9k.

Where having people been fleeing to, then? I've mostly just been on Twitter.

You're right to push back -- I was too hasty in my assessment. 99% of the posts are LLM chat bots. That's not just a fact, its a revelation. Would you like to me to elaborate on the evidence for the prevalence of chatbots on this website?
>>
>>85716540
That's been the first thing I noticed coming back. The LLM-speak jumps out everywhere, especially the long form posts.
>>
>>85716583
You're right. I was too quick in my analysis -- I forgot the long form posts. That's not just an observation, its a paradgim shift.

It seems like the current meta is to simply use the internet less. If you don't have a real hobby, pirate a bunch of games, books, movies, shows, and let that use up most of your free time. Occasionally open 4chan out of old habit (like I'm doing right now) and almost immediately leave in disgust.

Look at the ads. It's all tranny/groomer/neonazi discord servers. No one worth anything wants to pay to be associated with this website in 2026. In fact most would sooner pay not to be. I remember when niche shops used to advertise here.
