Has anybody else noticed how people seem so much more rude nowadays than they did even just five or so years ago? I've noticed this with women in particular, it seems like any time I make a very minor slip up, or they have any chance to come and argue with me, they take it. I'll give an example: I was at the gym not so long ago, and I was using the leg press machine. I was going heavy, so naturally I was making a bit of noise. The woman at the front desk came up to me and said something along the lines of "you're being really loud, you need to quiet down", and I promptly apologized and explained that I was just going a bit heavy and didn't notice. She then took the next five minutes or so to just bitch at me, and remind me of how loud I was being, despite having already apologized and recognized my wrongdoing. Similar situations have happened to me multiple times recently, with women in particular being rude to me essentially just because they can. A few years ago, this would have never happened to me, and I look basically the same so it's not even like this is some BP shit in action. Not only that, it seems like there's just a general angst in the air between everyone, and society seems to be functioning less smoothly overall than it did a few years ago. Maybe it's all in my head, just wanted to see if any other anons had noticed something similar as well.
Most people*s lives have been getting shittier and shittier every year, for many years. They are understandably grumpy about it. Those whose lives aren*t getting shittier, are stepping on the backs of those who*s lives are to stay afloat. When everyone around you is rude and predatory, it*s easy to say *fuck it, why bother*. When you wait your turn in line while everyone else is cutting and shoving and taking extra, you are turned away empty handed. It*s called *the coarsening of society* and it*s self perpetuating. A decade ago I only heard the term *high trust low trust society* from pol racists but now even normies are talking about it.

The only men that have really been rude to me recently have been the blue collar type of guys, and I can tell with them it's either due to low iq, or their explosive and confrontational nature, nor due to some mass psychosis like it seems with women. I guess as people get squeezed economically they need someone to take it out on, and the constant goybeam that people are getting hit with from social media usually gives them a mostly unrelated group to take their anger out on. Idk really, just thinking out loud here. It's a shame this is happening though, it makes it all that more appealing to just become a hikikomori and withdraw from society.

Couldn't find any black people either, at least amongst the shoppers, there were one or two black workers I think. The vast majority of people there were clearly fresh off the boat Indians, followed by a smaller amount of Chinese, and clearly illegal Mexicans. When I was thinking about this today and writing the post, I couldn't get that mental image out of my head. People are being squeezed from all sides economically only to have the government let in millions of people from god knows where and artificially increase the level of competition within an already strained and scarcity minded society. It sucks. I'm doing alright myself, I lucked out and managed to get a good job after recently graduating college, and I've been able to put a few friends on to work as well, but it doesn't make me happy to see the average person struggling. Even though on the one hand, it might make me seem more successful in comparison, I know it's ultimately bad for me to have the average person struggling, it's bad for the country and for society as a whole.
