Do you remember that day when as a kid you decided not to go home after school? Where did you go and what did you do?
No, I had video games like Ultima Online and Silent Bomber. Or wait, maybe a pier or a friend's house one time or two. Oh wait I went to a fight but they caught my leg and I yielded. Which was good because they had friends behind me who were going to jump me if I started winning, so I was told.
During my schooling years there was this cute girl who would wait for her ride after her sports practice was done, same time I was getting out of night classes so most of the school was empty, sometimes I would just sit next to her to talk about life.
My father's grave. We stopped going because it made my momma too sad.
Used to get dropped off at the wrong bus stop way far away from my house to go play this girl's Sega in her den. What's crazy is my crush became friends with her and I would see her at her house swinging on the back swing. It was surreal because I wasn't there for her, she came after.90s childhood was just surreal, there was like zero adult supervision.I used to walk down to the beach by myself and the cops would give me rides home at sun down.
>>85719331It was finals week in freshman year of high school, both me and my best friend (a girl and a hippie free spirited sort) had one day without any finals, and the school didn't give a shit about attendance for situations like that. My friend suggested we both skip school, walk together and explore some cool places in town. She takes me to an abandoned shack in the woods, tells me she has a crush on me and tries to have sex with me, I freak the fuck out and start crying (she was always better than me and deserved better), ran away and went home, and spent the rest of the day crying in bed. That was the begining of the end to our friendship
>>85719331Took the bus downtown and ended up talking to a cute 20 year old hooker on the bus. Not much else, just wandered around, sat in a park, and bought some cheap candy, a watch and a radio from a discount store. Told my parents I was going to the library to do some homework and studying and would be home late.
>>85719600what would you even talk to a hooker about?
>>85719817I barely remember, she was talking about some scars and where she went to school, was over 15 years ago. What I do remember is she was wearing silver eye shadow
>>85719331>friends house, playing on PS1>buying and smoking cigs with classmates >skating>gaming pc cafe
>>85719361I've always wondered if talking about life with a girl is really that different from talking to another guy. Is there actually a difference or is it basically the same kind of conversation? after I finished high school I remember spending a few months regretting that I never had any female friends
>>85719507wow you live like a tv character. i moved a lot so had no friends, parents were low IQ retards with no connections. we lived near nothing. just a burger king and dollar store. nothing to do except run into 3rd worlders. i hate life
>>85719526Do you remember what exactly made you cry or was it just a reaction to being nervous?>>85719507>90s childhood was just surrealThe quality of entertainment in the 90s is one of the few things I envy about the past. So much was going on and almost everything felt interesting
>>85720419>Do you remember what exactly made you cry or was it just a reaction to being nervous? The idea that she saw a loser like me as something worth more than friendship just really fucked me up. I knew she kinda struggled with self esteem issues, but she was always better than me and I figured that was obvious. Just a few days before that day, she'd talked about how she was talking to some other guy who was also better than me. It made me so sad to learn she was doing much worse than I thought, and was in the sort of mental state to see someone like me as an option for that stuff.
