Anyone else a son husband? I just had an enjoyable movie night with my mom. We watched Obsession and ate cake.

Yes, and in more ways than one, if you know what I mean

This was my life as a teenager, when mummy broke up with a boyfriend she'd start taking me out to dinner and on holidays. This has to be abuse of some kind.

My dad was somehow even more of a bum than I am, but my mom is a good person who chose to believe in the sanctity of marriage. I ended up being the only male support option she had easy access to, and I liked it, so it made a lot of sense when this dynamic naturally took shape.

I wouldn't call myself a "son husband", I've never even heard that term before. But I do go out to the movies and dinner with mom quite a lot because I literally have no one else in my life
