But what I've found is that girls rarely ever just reject a guy explicitly. They say they're busy, they can't afford to, there is a family emergency, etc and you're left to figure out if the girl is telling the truth or just being evasive. If you're naive or inexperienced, you assume the girl is being real so you ask a few more times and she gets increasingly pissy and it just becomes frustrating for everyone. The girl thinks the guy can't take a hint, and the guy thinks the girl is fucking with him.
