She was horrific in every way and used me like an emotional tampon but I still can't forget her, and I'd forgive her if I could. I was royally used but I don't care anymore. Still can't forget her.
>>85725563How long ago was this? If its recent it'll probably fade away whether want it to or not.
>>85726061reaching a year
men are really unappreciated for their benevolence
>>85726068Did you feel better then?
>>85726089Somewhat, but it was just odd and messy. She just needed help, there probably wasn't anything more to it. I was probably in one of the worst moments of my life.
>>85726128Sounds like progress to me. Sounds to me like you don't need "her" but really what she should've given you: Basic respect and understanding.
>>85726230She seemed to provide me with enough of both, to her credit. She was really nice and understanding.
>>85725563why are you like this? i don't mean it in a condescending way, but i don't understand people that put up with this bullshit and miss it. i always felt trapped when a relationship started getting sour. would pray for an excuse to get out. what was so special?
>>85726249Not OP, but because the flip side is loving you, making you feel wanted, sex, memories together etc.
>>85726240>She was horrific in every way and used me like an emotional tamponYou sure about that man? The above in your post doesn't sound very respectful to you. If she was understanding it doesn't sound like she used it very well.
>>85726249nta but when youre out you start to forget the bad and miss the good. plus bpdemons are good at worming into your psyche and getting you addicted to the lovebombing, to the point where youre convinced that if things were different you could have it all the time.
>>85726249I don't miss the bullshit, I miss the glimpses of humanity shared between us. Not even "the spark" or anything, just the wave we both rode even if it was neurotic, unhealthy, cope, whatever. It was nice for the time being. I am a very isolated individual, I thought I could make something work. Too much happened too fast, and that was that. In the end, I really, really just hope she became better and healthier since meeting me. It'd suck if she was worse off since. Life is too harsh.
>>85726263this. OP's post is vague; however, i really can't see how someone can use you as an emotional tampoon often enough to be "horrific" n still say i love u at the end of the day. it sounds blatantly bad. stockholm syndrome bad.
>>85726272what happened to her huh? did she fly away?
>>85726263>>85726287nta but personal experience was with a girl whod switch from the lovebombing "lets be together forever" all-smiles type to an out-of-her-mind droning cryer on a dime. the main thing for me wasnt vindictive, it just seemed like she was going through it. eventually that mask started to slip away and it got harder and harder to justify the sleepless nights trying to improve her mood, but i do miss the ones where wed just cuddle and share sweet nothings.
>>85726272u're a good guy OP, and i really do feel for u. i now see where u r coming from.all i can hope for is that it'll fade away and another will come. you never forget, but the negative feelings die out eventually.
>>85726272This anon again >>85726263. I dunno who broke up with who, if it was circumstantial separation, or whatever but you do seem like a good dude and are logically aware of things here but emotionally still still need some work to move on.Best I can really say are 2 things:1. A relationship should be treated as something you want, not need. You should be enough.2. You really do sound like you need a hug. If you really want connection, talk to people. Better than those thoughts just bouncing around in your head on a loop. I bet even talking to us anons helps at least a little. A past failed relationship shouldn't be the first thing to come to mind when yearning for contact but someone who genuinely deserves your time.
