Life does not even inherently entail suffering. Life is by nature, by the way it comes into being, stochastic and not deterministic, so there's nothing that says it has to entail suffering. Suffering is ultimately irrelevant to the survival of a species however so it's almost inevitable you will build a tolerance to it as a living thing, or at least have to endure some aspect of it UNLESS you create a much better environment for future progeny
