We have fake cheese and real cheese, idk how much tomatoes are in ketchup but yeah it's sweet and corn syrupy. I prefer the corn syrup version of most things: soda, sauces, maple syrup etc.
That's why so many of us wind up cooking. Can't even get a decent bread anywhere unless you live in the absolute worst parts of the country with cities of 100,000,000 population and risk a homeless stabbing you with aids needle for pocket change. Canning is a big thing here, so are freezers. It's because we have to make our own sauces, bread, and frozen dinners if we don't want poison. Can't even get fucking tendies, those have to be cut, breaded, and frozen raw. Chicken is difficult to find too, most are water chilled at slaughter then injection brined to make super low quality stuff. We pay over $8/lb just for thighs, and that's direct from farmer. Assuming you can even find a farmer that doesn't water chill at slaughter. Air chilled is only kind worth eating.
