After a lot of ruminating on it, I have realized that having an inexpensive phone in this generation costs you more than having an expensive phone. I don't mean that you need an apple, but it is an extension of your eyes and ears in the era of social media. A phone needs to have robust storage, be capable of filming in HD, and be capable of taking amateur photography level pictures. There is a certain amount of respect that the processing power of your digital presence commands. If you can only give potato quality, you'll have potato aura.
