hi anon. how's life going lately? anything weighing on your mind? you can tell me if you want! remember to be nice to yourself every once in a while, too. also, whats the last vidya you played?
>>85739258it keeps raining so i haven't been able to skate and then i get mad at myself for not skating>remember to be nice to yourself every once in a while, too.i don't know how to do that>vidyathe darkness
>>85739335>i don't know how to do thatjerk off
>>85739258its going, you? Lots of things, I need a medium to more effectively spread my gnosis to the world. More so than I already have, this could be a thread of its own but I don't think its an /r9k/ topic. I've been playing MTG Arena on and off, and for the past few months I've been working on my own video game. I'll post pictures and videos when I get close to finishing it, im just about halfway done right now.
Lying in bed every dayNot leaving the houseEating a tiny amount of shitty food
I hate this world, it's people, and my existence.
>>85739258Hiii Anon!! So glad to see you made a thread. Feels like it's been forever since we last talked.>lifeLife's been going... okay I guess, bit worse than usual maybe but not that much. I got my AC fixed so that's nice, it's running super well now, and my electricity bill seems like it will be lower than before which is a nice bonus too. Weather is finally starting to get good too, it cooled off to a frosty 30 degrees. The weekend felt quite short though and I hate that I already have to go back to work today...How's life going for you? Did you do okay on that economics test? What have you been doing with your time? I think you went somewhere yesterday if I'm not mistaken?>weighing on your mind?I had a really awful dream and even though it's been a few hours since I woke up from that nap I still feel kinda miserable. I don't even remember what the dream was about anymore, something about my family I think and I was suicidal in it and woke up feeling pretty suicidal too. That's what I get for taking a random nap in the middle of the day (night) I guess. Have you had any notable dreams lately Anon?>be niceIs buying a tub of ice cream and eating all of it in one evening being nice to yourself? 'Cause if so, then I've been very nice to myself lately, way too much. I forgot how good ice cream is, haven't had it in ages and now I can't stop eating it. But you should be nice to yourself too, Anon.>last vidyaI think you know the answer to that question... I've been playing lotsa Havoc and managed to somehow derank from assignment level 27 down all the way to 20 lol. Soooooo many failed games. Maybe I should really be more picky with my teammates because it seems to matter a lot, with good teammates I basically feel untouchable (I even randomly got that achievement where you need to take no melee damage in a Havoc 22 game), but with bad ones I get swarmed and overwhelmed pretty quickly. I guess Veteran just isn't a very solo-able class or something.
>>85739335well its not like you can magically make the rain disappear, so its not your fault desu. once there's better weather you can skate twice as hard. >i don't know how to do that...well dont ask me.>>85739341dont do that>>85739344>its going, you?well i guess it could be going better for me. but its going. also i dont think this board really has a topic, you can just post whatever.>MTG ARENAthats cool desu. i played a few games myself but could never find a group to play it with. good luck with your vidya anon.>>85739346relatable. i just dont eat any food whatsoever though.>>85739360me too anon, me too>>85739428hello. nice to know your ac is fixed. my test went fine i think. not good but not awful either. ive just been sitting in my room playing videogames as i always do. yesterday evening i went out to eat a pizza with my brother and his family>since I woke up from that napi wonder if they're actually as healthy as they advertise them. and no. i dont really remember my dreams much. i have a vague memory of dreaming my brother and me doing something.>buying a tub of ice creamdepends on the points of view i guess...>picky with my teammatesindeed you should, as they matter quite a lot in a team focused game i think
>>85739550>dont do thatwhy?
>>85739258Aunt called me to go to a family party today but I refused at the last minute, I'm too tired now. I don't really have a lot to report nor do I play games at all. Instead tell me a little about you, how is your relationship with your colleagues going? You sometimes make threads saying they disappoint you and all kind of stuff.Oh, I just remembered another doubt I have. You said you had a horrible experience adding people from 4chan before, what was it like? Asking only for curiosity by the way.
>>85739550>replying to everyone in one postoh, I accidentally posted in a foid/tranny thread, WOOPS
>>85739344What engine are you using?
>>85739551bad for your brain>>85739613>go to a family partyah yes. those are always fun arent they. i guess they could be a good excuse to eat and drink for free though>colleaguesuh, i dont have a job anon. i dont know what you're talking about>what was it like?either me or them ending up ghosting each other, which would just hurt everybody involved. that or feeling like you're forced to talk with them so that you're not the asshole ignoring people.>>85739619no, you havent
>>85739258Hi anon, thank you. Life is ok I guess. Very lonely but always has been. Right now I'm playing Vampire the masquerade: bloodlines for the first time to be festive (Halloween is my favorite holiday). Didn't get to play a lot of games when I was young and we were poor so now that I have money and time I've been trying to play them. Also going to try to play soma this month to keep with the horror theme.
>>85739637unreal engine. Ive been using blender for models, mixamo for animations, fl studios for sound effects, and Claude to help with coding.
>>85739657>those are always fun arent theyDunno if I would say that, I just don't like disappointing people when they call me so I appear every now and then. I also feel a little mogged by other people of my generation.>a good excuse to eat and drink for free thoughTrue, it's what I do to distract myself when I decide to go.> i dont have a job anonI meant classmates, sorry, esl moment.>>what was it like? That's pretty relatable, I think most people who engage on disc here end up with that experience.
>>85739686>Life is ok I guesswelll it could always be worse... but its not! for now.>Vampire the masquerade: bloodlinesits a shame they botched the sequel so badly honestly. ive heard great things about the first, i might play it too eventually.>Halloween is my favorite holidayvery good choice desu! its my favorite one aswell (even though i dont like scary things that much)>>85739741>Dunno if I would say thati was being sarcastic. i dont actually like them either. i only go because of the free food. but yeah, the feeling of guilt and disappointment usually deters me from going anywhere with other people involved.>meant classmatesoh, they're fine. i dont have any complaints about them, just that they're happy and im not so it makes me envious. they're all normalfags and even if they're nice to me i never feel like i fit in.>end up with that experienceits just inevitable i think. you cant really be friends with someone if you dont have a common activity that makes you spend time with them naturally. the common activity is 4chan in this case but that doesnt apply anymre once you move to discord and so the "friendship" diesalso, were you the one that made that blog thread yesterday?
>>85739864>i only go because of the free foodI thought you were afraid of eating too much because it can make you gain weight>just that they're happy and im not so it makes me enviousOh, I saw your post about it yesterday. It sucks but I don't think there's anything to be done about that>i never feel like i fit inDo you think you're going to maintain contact with them after your finish your, ehr, was it a bakery school? I forgot, I have a fried brain.>its just inevitable i thinkI would not say inevitable because there's one or another anon who shows up saying he made a friend and managed to keep the friendship for years. But I think you have a great point when you talk about the nature of those connections, anons have a good time on 4chan, move on to discord thinking they will extend this "happiness"/momentary connection, then realize it isn't the same thing. Kinda makes me remember of a friend I made at the gym once when I used to work out, we tried to talk outside of gym but I realized I didn't have anything to say, so when I see him in any other place nowadays I (and he too, probably) just act as if I don't know him.>were you the one that made that blog thread yesterday?Yep, that's me.
The indian hate makes me tired. It is seeping into real life. It hurts that's all. Myl ife has been very shitty as well
I started vibe coding and I'm boutta make it big with my superior ideas, twinfriend
>>85740138can you do khecari mudra?
>>85740097>of eating too muchwell yes, i am, however, another reason is because i dont like spending money on food. so if its free i kinda feel like im allowed to eat a lot. besides its really rare that we do family gatherings.>don't think there's anything to be donei really hope there is actually. i dont want to be miserable everytime i see a happy person. i dont want to envy my friends if they do better than me.>you're going to maintain contacti guess i'll try to unless something happens in these months that makes me want to change my mind. i have been considering just completely isolating from everybody else (including family) once im able to get a job and move abroad.>it isn't the same thingyeah. this is why having a third place is so important when you want to build a social circle. people nowdays are so atomized because there's no third places to go to anymore, to meet people and see them everyday. when you're out of school then you're just fucked, unless you're rich or already have friends.>>85740151best of luck to you my fren. what exactly is vibecoding? ive heard the term but dont really understand the difference between that and normal coding.
hello mr weeb spam poster. When are you going to end your miserable life or finally grow a pair and crawl out of it?Sincerely, mr tourist.
lickspittle
>>85740172>what exactly is vibecoding? ive heard the term but dont really understand the difference between that and normal coding.basically instead of writing the software you tell the AI what you want to create, it builds the whole thing for you. You test it then you tell it to make changes and it does. You do it again etc. You still have access to the files themselves so you can make changes manually and see the codeAI companies have models specifically to do thisIt was a meme at the beginning and produced a lot of buggy software but it's become very widespread as models got better. I don't know enough about the industry because I'm unemployed but a friend of mine works at a rather big company and tells me basically all of their shit is coded with AI at this point. From my understanding, programmers already were writing a shit ton of boilerplate reusable code so it makes sense to let AI do some of the more heavy, menial work.>>85740182Link to some threads on the board right now you consider good, I wanna see something
>>85740213>Link to some threads on the board right now you consider good, I wanna see somethingNo, I'm actually asking you the person posting this behind their computer screen directly, I'm not being ironic or comparing it to anything else. It's clear to me you're unhappy with your current life situation, are you going to commit sudoku or finally move on someday?I've seen you post for literal years.
>>85740229Uh now I'm going to need you to explain what do you mean by "you" because you're talking to two different people
>>85740235The hutao poster is the "you" I mean, if it's not you "you", then alright.
>>85740182hello mr.touristi am going to end my miserable life once my mom passes away. also, there's nothing to crawl out of; this is just the way life is.>>85740210very interesting gif i must say. >>85740213>it builds the whole thing for youah i see. is that how people manage to make those mods that merge games together and whatnot? it seems pretty damn overpowered. what are actual coders gonna do now? do they just become some kind of AI wranglers? do let me know if you're ideas actually work out though.
>>85740172>i dont like spending money on foodNow that I stop to think, do you receive an allowance from your parents, Tao?>i really hope there is actuallyThe only thing I can think that can help is meditation. I already saw in a documentary a long time ago that there were practices which were used in inmates and showed to increase their empathy for others, or something. But it's probably a hard process, do you think you would be able to dedicate 1h of your day every day for months until you saw an actual result? I'm only guessing how much effort it is needed btw, I'm not sure how many time you actually need to spend for your brain to change. Maybe metta meditation can help.>i guess i'll try toI see. I hope things go well for you, maybe they can be a crutch to help you to rise up to a normie in life? Who knows.>isolating from everybody else (including family)I already had that dream too but I realized I'm too useless to live by myself, I only plan to isolate myself from my acquaintances and (as much as possible) my extended family. I can't really live without my parents taking care of me. Well, this is if I even manage not to an hero until those things happen.>when you're out of school then you're just fuckedCan we really consider school a third place? It's not like people there have a lot to do with each other besides their age. I think a good third place would be a field in which you do an activity that is broad enough to make a ton of conversations based on itself alone.
>>85739258>how's life going lately?I got a promotion. Many people are happy about it. I'm just tired.>anything weighing on your mind?I'm trying to make peace with the fact that the way I want to live my life, I'll never break out of the middle class. Besides, I'm struggling to find anything to fill the void. I used to be into gacha, but now that I've quit, I feel like I'm drifting even harder than I used to.>remember to be nice to yourself every once in a while, tooFuck no.>also, whats the last vidya you played?Eternal Senia. Better than I expected, honestly. I appreciate the polish that went into the gameplay, even if the localization definitely could've used more work.
>>85740400That's a cute Suiggy. I will download her, thank you
>>85740138>getting ignored by the guy who replies to everyonelol good luck out there jeet
>>85740405You're welcome. Building a Suigintou folder has been challenging; much of what's out there is mediocre.
>>85740282>do you receive an allowancenay. on occasion my aunt gives me some money though.>can help is meditationit doesnt help that i think all that stuff is just kind of a hoax. i dont believe people can change just by sitting still and thinking for a few hours.>rise up to a normie in life?i dont really care about being a normie and having normie friends/interests, its more so, i just want their mental stability. but i guess having connections always helps.>can't really live without my parentswhy not? is it just a financial issue or its because you cant take care of yourself?>consider school a third place?no, its a second place, but it works out as third too for the time you're in it, due to circumstances. everyone there is your age, they somewhat have similar interests to you,(if you take the same classes etc) and so it kinda works. >a field in which you do an activityyes i agree, thats how a third place should be, but i dont see them anywhere nwodays, unless you pay money to join a club or whatever. if you go outside now its just empty. there's nothing.>>85740400>I got a promotionah, thats nice i suppose, good job anone. are you gonna have more responsibilities now?>the way I want to live my lifewhats that? how do you want your life to be?>used to be into gachawell i dont think you've given up on much, so its just a matter of finding something else to get addicted to (hopefully not gambling).>Fuck noyou deserve it, though.>Eternal Seniaah that seems interesting. reminds me of a specific kind of rpg maker games...
>>85740465>ah, thats nice i suppose, good job anone. are you gonna have more responsibilities now? Thanks. The responsibilities are the same as they've been for the past two years, it's just a raise and a nominal responsibility that the currently responsible person had been shirking. I just put pressure on them for a substantial raise they had to promote me. It's wild how many people fail substantially at playing office politics.>whats that? how do you want your life to be?Stability is king. Could I join a big international corp law firm and make my entire projected lifetime earnings in five years? Yeah, I could. I also would burn out within months if not weeks. I'm a weak man. I'd rather have a stable job with meh pay even if the economy's going down the tubes. At least that's what I tell myself. I'd probably have to make some uncomfortable choices if I ever really re-evaluated from scratch.>well i dont think you've given up on much, so its just a matter of finding something else to get addicted to (hopefully not gambling).Vibe coding worked for two months (and was substantially lighter on my budget). Video games worked for three days. Right now, I'm starting to spiral because nothing is filling the void but I need to keep the engine going so I can rise and shine tomorrow and every day after that. The energy reserves are rapidly dwindling. I neither have a purpose that drives me nor an active supply of anything that supplies positive energy. How do you deal with this on your own? Not that you have to answer, I don't want to pressure you.>you deserve it, though.Do I? Do you? For my part, once I've achieved something, it's no longer an achievement. Graduating with my doctorate was the only peak I actually enjoyed for more than a day, but even that ran out after a few weeks. So why should I?>reminds me of a specific kind of rpg maker games...It's definitely RPG Maker, but instead of four people in a row, you just run into the enemies. It's closer to Rogue.
