I wonder what our corporate masters think of this climate? A pang of warmth seeing their underlings scrabble for scraps? Is everyone working harder now?
>>
>>85753887
They probably dont see anything wrong at all. They think Its just complainers who dont try hard enough.

>>85753950
let me connect these two comments as they were clearly intended for each other

Personally, I'm really interested if productivity has changed since the economic pressures were introduced. White collar stuff is not very predictable a lot of the time.

I barely got one month internship with family connections in a marketing agency last year (nothing else since) and no, there is less productivity
The marketing department just tells the design team what the clients want then go back to scroll Instagram and smoke 2 hours out of the 8 hours they are paid for
The design team with legitimate artists, just ask chat gpt for a prompt, they give the prompt to an ai thing I can't recall its name, the only guy doing some work is the one person working on editing the ads and videos
The programing/website creation team are all running 5 sessions of Claude code and co pilot on visual code while putting bets on poly market
I didn't write a signal line of code because and I quote
>It'll take too long to correct and check your code, we're working with Laravel the compliment will end soon
>>
I'm planning to study next year which will mean I need to leave my full time job. Finding a part time job seems like it will be an absolute nightmare, job market is completely fucked.
>>
>>85754110
Tell me what you will study and what you are doing right now
Don't fuck yourself
A lot of degrees are already dead and even if it's something worth it, you can skip your lectures, pay some zoomer in your class to make notes and attend in your place. Some people I know made a deal with their company that let them leave whenever there are tests or finals as long as they come back to work during that day
>>

I've done my research thoroughly, I am too old to attempt studying something without a pretty foolproof career path that follows. The issue is just the few years while I am actually studying. My current job runs a skeleton crew and as a result simply won't try to work around my schedule.
>>
Im just going to die, im a diseased tranny, no one will hire me lmao

In the olden times everyone would throw rotten vegetables at me, and I'd live in a shack under a bridge. Now i just amble around my apartment, and maybe go outside once it is dark to avoid others

I'm on neetbux and I'm never getting a job, sorry not sorry Shlomo
>>
how the fuck do you get a job after neeting for a decade?
>>
>>85754305
Just join your dads business
>>

>I'm on neetbux
How did you got them? American? Assuming you are, I thought Trump pulled the rug out from everyone's social services starting next year.

>>
am I the only one who hates linkedin I know some people who swear by it but it's nothing but social media for wine aunts
>just cold message someone so they can be your mentor , bro
no one responds to messages

i have never ever been asked to explain a gap in my resume I see it talked about here all the time but no interviewer has ever asked me that and i once had a gap of 3 full years where i just didn't work at all
>>
>>85754311
The UK doing the same thing at the same time. They want slavery back
>>
>making $70k in a office doing work with engineers, don't have to deal with the average American population or be bitch slave in the hot or cold
>Sometimes miss 5 years ago when doing shit work for shit pay in land surveying because of the few dudes I know were chill weirdos instead of normalfagz and other adjacent normals
>>
>>85753887
I've been an unemployed neet for 6 years, live alone no friends nor family and too old to change any of that now (42) probably gonna off myself soon life sucks and once you realise being employed just means you're a good little cattle goy slave you'll never want to work anyway.

I got a master's degree in a STEM field that I was told would be meritocratic and in extremely high demand. Now my goal is to become a janitor and maybe I can get an internal hire in a decade, maybe not, but at least I hopefully can get paid and listen to political slop during it.
>>
>>85754379
I've been on the other side of the process and the managers who see it as an issue just don't bother interviewing candidates with gaps or two many short term stints. In their eyes there isn't any real valid excuse so why bother asking.

I'm sober, adequately able bodied and able minded, not very exceptional, but...yeah. There's no niche for me in the world. So I don't bother. I might become an English teacher in Asia though.
>>
>>85754541
Unfortunately even in stem you got to related bitch work just to even get a job in the thing you got a degree for.
>>
I have a job where I make over $25 an hour but I hate it . But I also know what it's like to be broke and to be looking for work and not getting anything so I'm just sticking with the suck it's better than not working and not having money I guess

I keep saying I'm gonna study for certs and other things to better my career prospects but often I just bullshit when I get home it's hard to actually do things like learn code when I have free time I like to just relax and not think about work and do a lot of shitposting

>Got fired from factory job I kinda liked 6 months ago
>1 interview since then (not hired)
>Tried a temp job on a assembly line but it sucked so hard I quit after 3 days cus I wanted to fucking kms
>Been trying to get a job with "normal" 9-5 hours but nobody will touch me with 0 office experiance

I should just kms.
>>
>>85754852
Kinda the same, but I didn't get a factory job because they told me I'm physically pathetic to even apply for the janitor there
I do have a degree but interviews are so rare I haven't gotten one in three months
Capitalism was a mistake (I love money)
Karl Marx spoke about this once (I will start hating him again when I get paid for literary anything)
>>
I want to make more and more money but if im being honest i dont even know what i would spend it on if I had it
>>
i'm thinking of just lying on my resume and seeing where that takes me. i can't get any interviews.
>>
kind of funny seeing a job general on the neet board

>how bad is it going
i want to fucking KILL and MURDER every single employer in my country and i wish them a HORRIBLE and PAINFUL DEATH
>>
>>85753887
>Fucked up yet another interview.
Did I talk too much about my last job? Was it the 2-year unemployment gap? That I said I was okay with a 8hrs a day workload but couldn't stay longer because I have things to do at home? Could be any of those. I have another job interview somewhere else this week and I'm not really sure what am I doing wrong.
>>85755505
Been thinking about this too. I feel like making some bullshit about some company that went under years ago to justify my typing skills from years of shitposting and get a cozy office job.
>>
Got caught in a mass redundancy about 5 months ago.
Only got one promising interview this year. I'm on the 4/5 interview and it's taken two months. Last time I tested the waters was in 2023 and I had two job offers in a week.

It feels so fucking over, I barely have any motivation anymore. No idea what to do anymore.
>>
>>85754520
What were you doing before the 6 years?
>>
I like working at shit jobs, especially fast food because for some reason i get tips. I was getting tips at the last 3 drive thrus I worked at.
Whats funny is i'm a good worker and actually enjoy coming in and will come in early, yet I still get let go from these places.

When people say the the US education system is meant for you to follow policies, that's exactly correct. Your ability to follow trillions of random rules and policies is the only thing that matters at all these corporate jobs. They all have traps to get people fired and working hard and being liked doesn't avoid those traps.
