how do i make my bf lose weight. he grew up on image boards and is highly sensitive to perceived criticism so basically a robot.he's my first and i am highly interested in marrying and sticking with my first. that's why i want him to change, i want to keep him.the issue isn't just him being fat but partly me being retarded. i had a late puberty and wasn't really interested in guys when we met. i might also be a sperg. i didn't have a "type" yet. but at this point i've formed a type and it's very skinny men. and it's probably too much to ask for from him, i don't want to be cruel/mean.i'm relatively younger than him, and very skinny myself. a plain face is my sin but i think overall he might agree and think it's worth it to 'keep me'. but will it make him hate me? then it's not worth it to suggest anything, or to keep going.
you gotta be willing to lose him if you wanna change him
>how do i make my bf lose weightKILL HIM AND DRAIN HIS BLOOD INTO A RUSTY BUCKET AND WEAR IT AS A HAT
I would just tell him plainly that you don't expect to still be attracted to him if he doesn't lose weight. if his feelings get hurt that's actually totally fine, he would rather this than you pretend or lie or cheat.
>>85754164Start cooking, now you both eat correctly and he will lose weight
>>85754164Men don't crash the fuck out like women do regarding this. Just say this is what you're into and that you love him enough to give him time. Offer to exercise with him and support his dietary changes.
>>85754164Realistically, you can't change anyone. I can tell you personally that if I had a girlfriend and she told me I needed to stop being lazy and start getting in shape, I would do it, but by your own admission, your boyfriend is overly reactive to criticism. You can offer practical help like cooking, as other anons have suggested, but ultimately he has to want to change.
