I used to approach women when I was under 30. Now I don't because:

So it feels disingenuous to behave differently as in lock eyes and make small talk only because I like someone's body, whereas with men or anyone else I'll try to avoid talking and if I have to no eye contact and reply with short answers in a monotone voice.

Because everyone now has a phone, why in the fuck would they try to talk to strangers and make friendly conversation. This is also reflected in how during the rare occasions people do try talking to me in public, it's to beg for money, or ask for cigarettes or lighter even though I don't smoke. So since I myself automatically ignore anyone trying to get my attention, saying excuse me sir or whatever prompt, it feels too confrontational to try to get a woman to talk to me
