I used to be an avid tumblr user back in 2011 and followed several blogs that complained about 4chan all the time. I decided to visit out of curiosity and realized that I fit in far better here than I ever did there.
Saw posts about it on somethingawful over twenty years ago.Really should have joined some sportsball teams like my father wanted, instead of wasting time on the electronic jew.
Everyone learned about 4chan in the same way. It was always /b/. /b/ was the selling point until you actually went there. Then you realized it was all gay shit and pedophiles. Then you found other boards on the website and were like okay maybe I do like this website

got posted here without my consent years back, friend sent me the thread so I could defend myself or whatever, I started posting and quickly became addicted and hated by many anons. Then I was banned for a year because I said a forbidden word, now I'm back and this board is kind of dead but I missed it so much I still lurk some nights when I can't sleep.

At some point I burned out with that stuff, and decided to embrace being a failure/outcast. The stigma around 4chan had always told me failures use this site, so I came to 4chan and found that this board had a lot of greentexts (the famous part of 4chan). Stuck around because it was exactly what I was looking for.
