How do we save 4chan from slowly withering and dying?

We must first save ourselves from slowly withering and dying.

We don't. We're not cool anymore. All of what we used to be has moved to decentralized platforms and this place palpably lacks the minds that used to inhabit it. Moreover, we're not edgy teenage l33t hackerz typing in green text on some underground website anymore.
The internet is for normies. Anime is for normies. 4chan is so suffused throughout culture that normies speak in neologisms that they have no idea originated on 4chan. Topics that were discussed here in these spaces well-over a decade ago have breached containment and have just become default talking points in society now. 4chan owns 4chan stuff about as much as Matt owns Pepe. Every advertiser and public relations firm and glowie is here. Your Facebook Boomer auntie who has never used an online platform not CURATED for normies has heard of 4chan. Looksmaxxing and mogging and incels and femcels and truecels and ricecels and moids and foids and become an hero and over 9000 and Pepe and Basedjak and The Backrooms and greentexts and copypastas and so on and so forth. The shit that didn't start here certainly cooked and festered here, and there was a time when people would have outright denied that 4chan was leaking into IRL. Now? It's at such a scale that to name every instance of it would be its own thread. Again, everyone today is talking 4chan stuff without knowing it came from 4chan. We're the old men now. Cringe millennials. We're not cool, and the stuff we might have thought to be special is just mass-produced cultural slop now.

New management.
>Bring back raids.
>Delete /mlp/, /s4s/, /f/, /v/-spin off boards and l dead boards
>Implement the /r9k/ bot globally
>new user generated content
>Ban fucking porn outside of porn boards
>Filter jannys by taking the EDs Citizenship Test
>Rangeban Israel and South Asia
Just to start
>>
>>85793926
do something fun then negro, community starts with the individual, all the others were willing to give up something, no one is now
>>
>>85793956
Problem is mods and jannies actively suppress it be selective enforcement.
>>
>>85793979
Fair, now that I think about it the entire internet doesn't allow for wildcard shenanigans anymore, its like the gentrification of the hood

>All of what we used to be has moved to decentralized platforms
How the fuck do people even move there, you need to already know people to get invited.
>>
>>85794043
It's more like all the normie cattle just adopting 4chan and more subversive internet culture and then misusing it making an entire ass out of what it is , and now you can just be edgy on a lot of other websites now so it's only the glowfaggots Israelis and thirdies on this shit,

We're past our twilight years, people are old here, plus
>more websites became less intrusive on what you post so we've lost our main reason for people flocking here
>the old porn addicts shitting up the catalog are worse than ever and push more people out
>moderation is non existent unless a mod has a specific bone to pick with you and decides to rangeban you in a hissy fit
>troons grew in portion so there's more fag specific threads outside of their r9gay quarantine, like the british troon always seething about the UK and every bit of news out of there.
>a lot of people who were "here forever" realized they're not during the 2025 hack
Basically the sites on life support. I've seen times where the basedjak party boards are as active as r9k now lol. /pol/ is good astroturfing ground and will live the longest next to /v/ because of shills and people canvassing for politicians and products. There's a few obvious ones rn because of the midterms. But for genuine discussion we're a retirement home now.

>a lot of people who were "here forever" realized they're not during the 2025 hack
The site was down for 11 days, why does everyone make a big deal out of it? If you posted here everyday, then you wouldn't stop just because you couldn't post for 11 days.
>>
Provide something nobody else offers. That's why an experiment like r9k still makes sense these days, and that's why banning homosexual spam makes so much sense
>>
It's been dead. Everyone on it now are just flies on a corpse.
>>
Delete any /pol/ content outside of /pol/

That will solve 95% of the problems 4chan has.
>>
>>85794141
/pol/ website, nigger. There's no going back.
>>
>>85794144
Modern /pol/ is muslim dogshit. I don't want to read a shitskin made thread even if it shares my opinions when it's in chopped shitty English any more than that anon does. Ban that shit, ban porn, move faggotry to /lgbt/ boom the catalog isn't a chore to browse anymore.
>>
>>85794141
/pol/cancer has done millions of more damage than even the horsefuckers and gamergate ever did to 4chan.
