Its insane how much fun playing video games, gooning, reading webtoons is. It's almost like a glitch in the matrix. You can get so much fun for a negligible cost. No money needed, no risk. This wasnt possible before our era.It is supposed to have diminishing returns, but if you just go for a long walk or hike/bike trip a few times per week, the fun from the aforementioned remains as strong as ever. It's better than all drugs because it doesnt have the costs and the risks.Truly born in the best era
The sad part is how much comfier and wealthier we could be if we didn't have the albatross of boomers and their pet ideologies around our necks. We're probably sitting on billions of pounds of coal and energy is yet still expensive. We could have fulfilling work to do that pays well but we'd rather sell off our capacity to do that to lesser countries and deprive them as well of the first principles and historical steps they'd need to get to be autonomous with their own resources. I could think of a bunch of other problems with it.
