you greatly over estimate the competence of doctors. An emergency room doctor is NOT a plastic surgeon. Ok? An emergency room doctor is quick and sloppy because he's trying to stop the bleeding before the patient dies. You get big scars in the emergency room. An ER surgeon has no idea what an alectomia is. He'll sew your nose back together, but it can be crooked, or scarred, or worse, you can still get a staph infection on your fucking face and lose your entire nose. Hospital staff doesn't know what the fuck they're doing and staph infections from incompetence are the most common way people die in hospitals. You go to a plastic surgeon, he may not know how to do an alectomia, but he can probably recommend you a doctor who can do it. Plastic surgeons are careful to leave only very tiny scars. Pay the money. Get it done right. Don't make your face evenworse by being a cheap brownoid.
