If you are able to function well without them and use them occassionally: nothing. However, most cross that invisible line and it's never apparent where it's at. Once you do, it's over. The only way back is 100% abstience. The sad part is the placement of that invisible like is different for everyone. Seen one person get addicted the very first time they used heroin. Others it took years when they shot it every several months without anything. Then, it became out of control.
