>Right in the center of the room>More than 30 coworkers>Tripped over my own feet cause I wasn't paying attention>Everyone became dead silent and stared at me>Almost no one laughed which somehow made it worseSomeone kill me please, just come kill me
>>85841375>Today I tripped and fell in front of everyone at work
>>85841375>>85841382I'm just kidding, I love you OP. I'm sorry you had to deal with that
>>85841382>>85841409Laughing makes me feel less bad, actually. The silence was so embarrassing
>>85841435Ideally, I think the best reaction they could give in order not to make you embarrassed is saying something light like "wow, be more careful anon". Maybe in these moments you are supposed to say the light comment if no one does, just to break the ice? I'm too autistic to know, but definitely people laughing at me would make me feel bad.
>>85841527One person asked If I was ok, I just mumbled an answer to his general direction...Thanks anonie, I feel a little better now that it's been a few hours. I didn't fall on my face, at least.
>>85841527Making a light comment is the best reaction IF it's not serious AND the person who fell wants that kind of response If it ended up being a more serious fall than it looked or the person gets a bruised ego from it doing that is going to make the situation way worse and you'll look like a dickUnless you don't care about that in which case go for it I guess
