are you guys doing anything for halloween? i might buy a cheap costume and go out to a bar or something to see all the sluts
>>
>>85843219
Last Halloween I drove to the city and parked, watching the massive crowd of couples and friends hanging out and laughing. Thinking I might torture myself by doing that again
>>
>>85843219
Going to friend's house party and going to a local club afterwards. Might take sister trick or treating in the morning.

I celebrate Halloween all October long
I watch horror movies or things like The Most Terrifying Places in America
I've seen all my favorite Halloween-themed movies so many times though, like Sleepy Hollow
Check out Hubie Halloween

On Halloween? IDK I guess the same

that's what I did on one of the most depressing nights of my life.
I just got extremely drunk and failed to meet any women.
the lowlight was when I pretended to be gay to get into a gay bar to meet women, embarrassed myself in front of the women there, and didn't even get any attention from the guys.
>>
>>85843287
get piss drunk in a womans costume if ur a normal looking dude and not take that shit serious, i think it would be a good laugh even if u dont pull any pussy, and lets be real, prob not gonna happen
could because the most embarressing thing uve ever done, which prob will honestly help alot of other shit not be a much as of a burden
>>
>>85843219
I will go outside with my dog to look at the costumes like I do every year and when I return home I will drink all night
>>
>>85843268
No I didn't do any cute girls, still wanna see?
>>
God damn it i'm not ready for another isolated Holiday season, fuck this shit guys
>>
>>85843318
I'm actually dressed up as a woman for Halloween before. When I used to actually be invited to parties I went to one as Greta Thunberg. It was pretty fun because I could do a impression of her accent.
I don't think I can do it again though. I'm wanting something low effort and spooky.
>>
>>85843320
NTA but I want to see. I've been too depressed to draw lately so maybe you can kick my butt by making me jealous with your skills.
>>
>>85843335
my brother wore a carved pumpkin, and people ate the living shit outta that, go with a black outfit and carve a pumpkin or borrow one

My energy and motivation for drawing also wavers. I get what you mean
>>
>>85843353
My head is really big so I'm not sure I can find a massive pumpkin. I might do that as a last ditch effort though so thanks.
My head will smell as pumpkin.

damn that's really good, nice work anon

>>

Not really. Might go outside to chase unattended kids at night and scare them if I feel like it.

Sandler films get a bad rap. I like that one

>trunk or treat
Are you old enough to know what we lost?
>>
>>85843219
Yeah I might do that, or just go to bed.
>>85843607
Did you read ANYTHING else they posted holy shit I want to deck you with gloves full of plaster.
>>
>>85843627
Yes of course I did, sorry if I pissed you off. Trunk and treating is still dystopian to me, I grew up doing all that and more for Halloween. I think it's sad how common and normalized trunk and treating is having to become. It's probably fine for him but I pity his baby brother.
>>
>>85843644
Fair. I don't really remember it much and I saw people trick or treating years ago. I was part of a DIY haunted house and that was pretty cool
>>
>>85843713
*a few years
>>
>>85843644
anon... i can understand truck or treating being 'weird' for northern states, but not everyone lives in housing districts, you clown. truck or treating IS the way to experience trick-or-treating for kids who live in rural areas. its not just cars pulled up and a random candy bar; some do food stands and games, and ive even got free donuts at one and roasted s'mores at another. less anxiety since u know what to expect, not with ringing up random fucking houses. i live in church country not a shitty city block
>>
>>85843718
Good for you, Cletus.
>>
>>85843713
That's cool, I did a DIY haunted house thing when I was in elementary school but I bet it would be way more interesting and intricate as an adult.
>>85843718
That makes sense, I honestly didn't think about rural areas. I grew up in the Midwest and South too but we were in a suburb. But what you're describing doesn't sound too different from a harvest or fall festival or country fair minus the trunk and treating.
>less anxiety since u know what to expect, not with ringing up random fucking houses
We used to be a fucking country.
Even in cities and suburbs they're doing a lot of trunk and treating now. The west has fallen o algo
>>
>>85843764
>going back to more community-oriented gatherings is le bad and against le tradition because! uh because it was MY LE traditions.
yeah whatever you say buddy, sure
also half the time its just ringing doorbells and HOPING they were home. + the 'take one' bullshit and empty bails since some kids would take the whole lot. ur nostalgia retarded about it. unless u are the nigger who WOULD take the whole lot

I'm back from the costume store and it was fucking brutal. So many normalfags with their friends picking out costumes. Couples going together. Cute girls picking out slutty outfits. Meanwhile there was me, this invisible lanky awkward faggot by himself lurking around the store like a real Halloween ghoul.
I got a Jason costume in the end.
After I got home I actually had a great idea for a costume: the Norwood reaper.
I'm thinking a reaper costume with a bald cap, maybe a bottle of vitamins labelled Finasteride
Only problem is will anyone get it? And my hair might be too long for a bald cap. I actually think it's a good idea but I doubt people will get it. Should I try it?
>>
>>85843879
I think it could work, I saw a really good piece of art of that concept that was a grim reaper like figure on a giant scalp pulling up hair by the follicle but I can't find it now.
>>
>>85843815
Never experienced any of that, but I daresay I'm older than most here. In my neighborhood the doors were unlocked and very rarely was someone not home on Halloween, and you knew all your neighbors. And yes, kids actually used to take one and leave the rest. Like I said, we used to be a fucking country. I'm not so much lamenting the loss of the actual tradition as what it represented.
>going back to more community-oriented gatherings is le bad
That's not what they are though, at least not in the suburbs. I've taken my nieces and nephews to one and they were just as disappointed as I was, so I told my brother we were going to our parents place and the kids had a much better time. Half the joy is seeing how people decorate their houses, getting scared and scaring others, exploring the whole neighborhood with your friends without adult supervision, and going by the graveyard or forest where there are no lights, etc. Kind of hard to do that in a strip mall parking lot.
>>
I piss in the water trough each year we do bobbing for apples. It's hilarious seeing all the chads and stacies basically gargling my pee. Might do some weed brownies and cum in the batter again, did that a couple years back. Normiest bullshit holiday ever, but a good opportunity for payback.
>>
I'm going to be at Osaka for the Halloween street party. I used to do it in Shibuya but the past few years nobody dresses up in costumes anymore.

How can the great taononny not have any plans for halloween
>>
>>85843959
38 here. That awesome That you had all that. I remember a dream about a Halloween/spooky adventure with some of my distant friends better than I do trick or treating. It's out there man, I've seen people decorating their houses as recently as three years ago, and there was a guy going around with a chainsaw sans chain.

People aren't dressing up? In Shibuya? Sounds bizzare, isn't that supposed to be a trendy spot?

>>
>>85843219
Probably not. Every year I think I should dress up, then I forget. I wish I could still go trick-or-treating because I love getting candy.
>>85844037
Yoo you're in Japan too? Yeah they shut down the whole Shibuya Halloween thing. I was invited to some apartment party in Shibuya but it was canceled out of nowhere, so I'm just gonna go to work like usual instead.
>>85844287
The Shibuya Halloween thing has been canceled and authorities are getting more strict on partying in that area on Halloween, or something.
>>
>>85844356
That is so very sad i dont either
Do you wanna like, eat candy corn and watch a horror movie with me over discord?
>>
I want to round up a bunch of buddies and then we all wear clown suits, get in a van, do that thing where it looks like you're about to kidnap someone but instead of dragging the person in the van it's just the van screeching to a stop, door sliding open and then 5 clowns going HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK before hauling ass away again haha that would be super funny imo.
