>come up with a character for a writing prompt or something>draw her, come up with a story and setting>turns out she's a bitch>pretty, self-important, narcissistic cunt>try to re-write her but it doesn't work>try to just reuse the design for another character but it doesn't fit as wellAnyone come up with OCs and characters n shit on /r9k/? I like writing it's fun
>>85843266sometimes in my head i will come up with a compelling character while i'm doijng something else. I always end up forgetting though. Listening to a random song and trying to imagine a music video for it involving made up characters, i find very inspiring.sorry your thread's a little rekt btw. it deserves more attention.
>>85843634Wanted to reply too but didn't know what to say, thought it was a good idea too
I make up a lot of stories, although I don't always write them down. Lately I've created a lot of characters for World of Darkness setting and stories for them. I like reading the lore books but I don't really enjoy playing tabletop games that much because I'm not comfortable with roleplaying, so I just make up characters and stories for my own enjoyment. I would like to learn how to make art for them but I'm still really bad at drawing so I need more practice.
I have made up the habbit of writing all my ideas down now either on my phone or on my PC the moment they come up. Already written 15 pages of ideas for one story in a bout month
>>85843266i wish i did so i could come up with a good reply. i think if i read more fiction i'd be more inspired to write it because i did both when i was younger. currently i just read non fiction and write non fiction.
>>85843637just make some shit up to say. anything to help the thread out :) better that than one of those other dog shit threads that are usually on the front page.
