Ive been studying German on and off for about 4 years now and even attended private tutoring and I still cannot even speak at an A1 levelI was writing down everything, reading and watching and listening, no Duolingo bullshit I know nothing I hate being genuinely retarded with my 96 IQ isnt it so wonderful never being able to achieve anything

>>85844087i learned basic finnish/polish/japanese by reading A1 stories in LUTE and annotating them word by word. I also added each sentence to an anki flashcard with a target word (usually a verb), I would add 5 cards daily, then review the anki cards from the previous day, read more, define then add more cards. That's the method that worked for me.I stopped learning these languages because I had no use for them.
