I value a cashier 1000x more than I value the manlet fuck who owns the company that pays me my salary or the motherfuckers trying to sell me something or a doctor who treats me like big pharma's sheep for shearing. A cashier makes normal life possible for people and doesn't do anything negative for anyone for the most part, while being a tough and thankless job, so it's pretty high up there in terms of how noble it is as a profession.As for dropping out, it is what it is, not everyone gets through college on their first shot, and some don't get through it ever. It's like not being good at sports. It doesn't mean you can't succeed in your career pursuits or that you're inherently some fuckup who will fail at everything he tries. Failure doesn't always beget future failure. Sometimes you need to fail to learn how to succeed.
