What does your mental calendar look like? Is it a grid, does it have colors, draw yours?
>>85844789It's just this x12
>>85844789there are only 2 "things" in a year
>>85844789I count the days until the next festival and remember the two consuls of each year
I just read the phases of the moon and the rising of the sun
I can't even keep track of what day it is. Months are so far detached from any personal meaning it's just oh spooky decorations, I guess it's about to get cold in a few weeks/months. This has lost some effectiveness now that they start putting up Christmas decorations for sale in the middle of summer. I get it's a big money thing so they want to milk the holidays but at this point they should just make up new holidays to sell stuff or make it a year round thing since that's the logical conclusion.
I feel like mine is pretty similar to OP's calendar, though december is probably a wee bit shorter
>>85844789My mind lives at least one week ahead of the physical day at all times so I rarely think about time as it relates to me in the moment.
>>85844789January = two and a half monthsFebruary = 3 weeksMarch = one weekApril = 2 months againMay = 5 weeksJune = 2 weeksJuly = 2 weeksAugust = one regular monthSeptember = 2 weeksOctober = 5 weeksNovember = one regular monthDecember = 2 weeks
Awake, asleepAnd i assure you, these times change drastically and without reason
>>85844789Mine is like OP's pic, except mirror reversed (i.e. counterclockwise), and the circle is complete, so December and January are immediately next to each other with no gap between them.
>>85846753Do you live in the southern hemisphere? I live in the northern, I find the OP's perception relatable. It'd be interesting if most people perceive the cold seasons to last longer than the warm seasons
>>85844789I experience the months in blocks of one but I guess it's more accurate to say that I experience seasons as one month each. December-May basically feel like one long monthJune-August feels like another monthSeptember-November a month
paint it blackit's all the same to me and i've lost my sense of time
>>85846798>Do you live in the southern hemisphere?Actually, no -- northern hemisphere. At the bottom of my imaginary circle, the months progress from left-to-right, and I am used to things going from left to right. I don't know why I chose the bottom of the circle to look at -- I think that was just a random choice.
>>85844789Something like this. The winter feels giga long, spring goes by in an instant, summer lasts longer than winter in total but no individual month feels longer than January, September comes close because that's when the weather noticeably shifts from pleasant to shit, October & November are kinda whatever, they drag on but very little happens there and the days blend into one another, then December is maybe half a month more of the same, then starting around the 15th to 20th depending on how much time off I have left, it turns into a blur outside the borders of normal time where everything involving Christmas and new year's eve blends together into an indiscernible soup, then slowly over the first January days things start to piece themselves back together and by the second week of the new year we're firmly back in the cycle
>>85847756Btw this is mostly a representation of how much suffering I endure when leaving the house, in the winter and summer when you freeze or sweat your ass off every time you leave the house every day feels like a struggle, whereas in spring when it's comfy the days go by incredibly quickly

I just got a fantastic ideaWe, or I, should create a set of occult beliefs around around mental calendars
