I tried the NEET life for almost a month where I was living off my parents money and my own. It was fun at first since I was starting to feel burned out but I just spent everyday watching porn, reels, tv, playing videogames, eating goyslop, and VCing on discord. I had no goals to work towards and was starting to feel depressed. I'm back studying again and I'm going to start looking for a job. How do full-time NEETS do it?
>>
>>85844818
Usually it feels more tolerable than having to work something because you're used to not having any goals
>>
>>85844818
I have a job and do all that stuff.
>>
>>85844889
>>85844901
I prefer working and studying at home so it was distressing when I was forced to work in-person for almost 3 years. Only pros are I made a couple of friends and met some nice people
>>
>>85844818
Idk desu with you I just always liked it. I guess I don't have many goals but i'm also okay with that. But I stay in ok shape, eat pretty good and go hiking now and again and there are games and tvshows I look forward to and so on. No bedrotting. Right now I'm going to enjoy asmr on the couch for a bit and then make a meal and I just appreciate small things like that. Playing GTA 6 next month is gonna be pretty novel and then PoE 2 full release is in december which I look forward to
>>
neet schedule:

Wake up 2pm
go for a run 2:30pm (if its not raining thats not comfy)
clean shit in the house 3-3.30pm
cuddle and play with pet 4pm
3-4pm call my jobless buddy and play warframe for 10 hours
8-9pm do a quick grocery trip (latest opening hours so less people)
go to sleep at 3am
repeat

the only downside is low money because neetbux but the amount of freedom you have makes a millionaire in time that you have available
>>
>>85844818
There's no reason to work unless you want a girlfriend and having a girlfriend is just a humiliation ritual if you're not Chad.
>>
>>85844818
you need a hobby or passion that you can do all of the time
>>

Got dumped after 5 years and buying a house which led to me losing all motivation to exist in society. I have not left my house in 6 months or so and may never leave again
>>
it only works after you have been shitfaced by a toxic study/work environment. I finally understand those uncles who spent their entire life playing the same map in cs1.6. its so peaceful.
>>
>burned out from NEETing for a month
You're like those covid normalfags who got le depressed because they had to stay home for a week.
>>
>>85845463
He is a normalfag, hes asking how to live correctly. He needs to be told how to sit, stand and so on.
>>
I wonder the exact opposite, how do people find the motivation and energy to NOT be NEETs? Why would I want to wake up at 6 am every single day, go to a job I hate so I can pay taxes to black single moms, spics, and Israeli puppets? Why would I work a job so I can financially support a fat used up whore that was some college drug dealer's cumrag? Why would I want to work a job to not even be able to ever afford a house anyways when I could just do enough to stay in my dad's good graces and inherit my house? I have no motivation to not be a NEET, I have been completely blackpilled, I genuinely don't give a fuck about this society or being an upstanding citizen.
>>
Working sucks compared to being a NEET. As a NEET you can do whatever you want all day all the time. Whether that's perusing personal projects or masturbating all day long, both are infinitely better than working and as a long term NEET you will cycle through these with no sense of guilt. With a job, your life is 1/3rd work and time is something you don't have control over. Muh goals dude. Have fun studying hard and aspiring to have a job that asks as little as possible of you while paying the most. In other words: the ideal job is one you get paid to do nothing. I've been NEET for 6 years straight, with other NEETing spans of 2-4 years. Man I can't wait to go to work instead of doing whatever I want... kek.
>>
>>85844818
You just give up on having goals in general. I do understand the state you are talking about, when you feel the itch to do, to achieve, but when you fail as much as for example I did, you realize there is nothing you can achieve or better in this life anyways. There is only so much a heart can take before it snaps and breaks. I just focus purely on experiences, on utilizing my sentience to learn and see as much as possible in my situation and ignore rest of the world.
>>
>>85845532
most normalfaggots get positive reinforcement from doing all this shit. find social circles where they can circlejerk positive emotions, get girls from there too. when your own life is good and you hav a tribe spics and nigs dont matter
>>
>>85844818
>how do people do nothing
...by... doing... nothing? ok just open twitter, scroll posts. now its 10am. time to sleep. repeat repeat
>>
>>85845463
The only problem with being a NEET is funding. My parents would give me some money, but not enough to actually enjoy anything. Used the little money I had for frivolous spending
My goal right now is to continue studying from home for a degree and getting a remote job so I never have to leave the house. I'm also looking into other hobbies like drawing and reading
Tl;dr surrounded by normies, extroverts, and rich people -> can't keep up -> distance myself from this madness -> realize that I'm running out of money and my parents won't be here forever -> adjust my goals, can't be a complete NEET because my parents aren't rich enough, have to do some sort of work for income.
Unironically there's also pressure from family, family friends, and friends do work hard so you can get a good job, but that just doesn't work anymore.
>>
>>85844818
>started to feel depressed
>went back to studying/working
I know this is an obvious bait/larp but depression works the other way round. It normally kill your motivation to do anything instead of encouraging productivity. So it tends to entrench NEETdom rather than encourage change.
>>
I was neeting from April until September and it gets old and depressing very quickly
>>
>>85844818
because studying feels pointless and irritating, job interviews are humiliation rituals that i always fail. this is the only thing i can do
>>
>>85846058
nta but while that is true, it can (rarely) birth desperation for change and that could, in turn, lead to a short lived outburst of motivation.
>>
>>85846058
Following from this, in a proper depressive slump you don't care about "goals to work towards" or anything like that, what a joke. And even if you have goals you don't do anything towards them. They just seem so far away.
>>
Welcome newfag. The NEET thing is just a local meme.
Obviously staying idle for days or weeks on end just suck. I think almost everyone here knows that, but it's fun to goof around online. We all know that personal goals and self-fulfillment is essential.
I haven't played more than 20 hours of video games in 3 years, and I think most people here are in my category.

The only thing making my unemployment miserable is the fact that my bills are always hanging over my head. Regardless of what I do, I feel stressed and anxious about getting a job or returning to school, and only the most miserable distractions can take my mind off it. If I had neetbux I would be at peace forever, I think.
>>
>>85844818
As someone with severe social anxiety, I can do it because staying at home is infinitely better than going outside and having to deal with people. I'm also the opposite of ambitious and don't really have any goals in life (never had, to be real).
>>
>>85846126
I'm sorry you feel stressed. It's not fun to be chronically low on finances. Neetbux aren'ts real, that's also just a literal meme around these parts.
Get a job. It will make your life much better. Doesn't really matter what you do, desu. Part time at a grocery store is better than unemployment. Hope you do okay, man.

I've been a neet for almost 8 months and i'm losing my mind and struggle to get food. Shit sucks, I only have one parent alive and my parent is stressed as shit, i'm trying to apply jobs around my area but no one will fucking hire and takes weeks to get a call back.

It's when life is so shit for you when you try to go among people that doing that is a better alternative
>>
>>85846190
Yeah, thanks man. Probably right.
>>
>>85844818
work for me is worse cause i just get picked on and have bad social experiences constantly. it feels like some cosmic joke where i see what's gonna happen, have to wait a few weeks, then i finally have to watch bullshit happen to me and i can do nothing about it. i mostly just make art and masturbate/do drugs when i neet, much better
>>
>>85846213
Yeah the fact that I have to beg someone to enslave me is a real mindfuck. Ive been neeting for 20 years on and off. Took two years to get a community college degree and I'll work a job for a week if people are really getting on my ass. However times are getting too hard and I think I squeezed all the juice I can out of this lemon unfortunately.
>>
>>85845008
yeah, i plan on neeting for life once i save up some money, time is the only valuable thing you have and the goyim all give it up to shekelberg and their demon hellspawn they give birth to to keep the jewish system going.
>>
>>85844818
you lasted a month as a neet, wow.
idk if that's a success or a failure. you clearly failed in having the neet experience. and i was about to say you'd probably have more success irl that way, but you're here posting frogs so that didn't happen.
>>
>>85844818
After you fail too much ypu realize there is nothing you can compete against real people and give up. You can only compete against AI.
>>
its crazy when i go on twitter or whatever and the normies are complaining about how 40 thousand dollars a year is barely survivng, thats so much money to me
>>
>>85846694
Normies spend their checks on $200 shoes and put themselves in debt going on holistic vacations. Don't forget many pop out a kid or two while they're at it.
>>
>>85846436
How you afford to finish a degree? Wish I fucking finished mine, it's hell on earth to find a job with only a high school diploma, I can't imagine motherfuckers without a GED trying to get a job.
>>
>>85844818
I have often said that despite it sounding very easy to do, a lifestyle of lounging about isn't something that everyone is capable of. It takes a special kind of person to truly revel in idleness. It's not quite the same thing but let's compare it to being a Buddhist monk. It sounds easy on paper. All you do is sit around and maybe do some odd chores around the monastery. It might be boring at times but at least they don't have to toil away at a real job. That sounds easy enough, right? Thing is, most people don't become monks because they want to do more with their lives than just that. The born NEET, which is to say someone who chose the lifestyle rather than had it forced onto them, is similar to a monk in the sense that they don't really want to do more with their lives. They are content living in their bubble. That is where they feel most at peace. They don't care who criticizes them for their lifestyle because they already know exactly who they are and what they want. If not for some of their hedonistic proclivities, they may not have been opposed to a monastic life.
