What do you do if you've been forced to suppress your emotions for your entire life because your mother only wanted to raise a child, and now that you're an adult you're only seen as a problem for her?Last time I tried to bring that up to her she drove away and attempted suicide. It's either I suffer or she does.I'm still saving up to move out comfortably. And no, therapy didn't work, nor did outlets like exercise or doing something creative.
You need to train expressing actual emotions out loud. Technically it is best to do it with someone you can trust, but I personally have intimophobia so I just started filming videos about me seething and crying instead. And posted them too. I was admittedly extremely scared and still am, but people turned out to be nicer than expected and I find that being honest irl is easier as well now. Regarding your relationships with your mother I didnt actually understand the issue, sorry. Moving away is all there is to it, if she is toxic.

>>85851133try writing your feelings down on a piece of paper, and then reading them out loud to yourself when you're alone at home.
