I'm unable to change the circumstances of my life, and it sucks.I'm unable to make social connections. Every conversation I get into is overwhelming, no matter how small. And I've learned to mask it to a degree. But inside I'm panicking and just waiting for it to be over so I can forget about it later.Today I went out for only an hour to run an errand and get some food, and ended up having two interactions that are going to haunt me for the next month.1. I saw my mom's old friend, except I didn't recognize her at first, and when she came up to me to talk, I had nothing to say. We made the tiniest of small talk before she realized the vibes were off and made her exit.2. The cute autistic cashier started info dumping about her niche interest, and somehow that turned into talking about presidential power. And I made a point that I don't think I articulated well, but there was no time to really get into it, because the line was moving, and I didn't want to be that guy holding it up, so I just made my exit.I feel like these interactions would have made the day better for other people. They would have gotten to see an old kind face, and have gotten to talk to a cute girl. But these kinds of things drain my energy. I probably won't be able to function for the next week, while I drown myself in my hobbies and entertainment to soothe the mental anguish.
stop being a pussy , nobody cares >these two will remember me foreverthey won't , they probably forgot about you the moment you fucked off their way , nobody cares.
>>85852774Bruh, the "they will never remember" line doesn't work on anyone with a brain, because we know that *we* remember. So of course other people will remember too. Also, I literally stated that one of them is my mom's friend. Like a good friend. She recognized me, and came up to me, and I will likely see her again. The cashier is the same one I see about once a week on average. Of course she remembers me. When I was a cashier, I remembered all the regulars.
