If you asked a Padre Pio like figure to interpose on your behalf and say a mass in honor of you getting a gf, or if you asked Mother Theresa like figure to lead a convent in the rosary in honor of you getting a gf, theoretically speaking, that might work. I'm going out on an assumption here but you probably aren't a holy man. Are you even a communicant? If not, are you even a penitent seeking reconciliation? If you're not with the program and not participating with the saints, how exactly are the holier people in a higher state of grace supposed to mediate for you? If you're not reconciled and in communion with God himself, how is he supposed to change your mind without overriding your free will?
